Was in the mall and was excited to see they opened a Cuban Eddie’s here. Love the one in Dumont so I figured I’d grab some empanadas for quick lunch. Smh so disappointed. I ordered 2 chicken 2 beef. Took a bite of the beef first with the sauce and it just tasted really greasy the second bite I took I literally had to spit it out because it tasted almost rotten. Tried the chicken because I figured maybe the beef was just old and maybe the chicken empanadas would be better. Smh not good at all. The flavor was just weird. The meat in them both just do not taste fresh. I love empanadas, I make them myself, and also love trying them out from different places so this is not my first encounter with empanadas. The ones from the Cuban Eddie’s in Dumont are delicious so I just can’t believe how different the food is from one Cuban Eddie’s to the next. Literally just threw out 4 empanadas and such a waste of money. Smh never buying anything from this...

Wasted my money as I had to throw out the food in fears of getting food poisoning and ruined my only lunch break...
Read moreI ordered a Cuban sandwich and specifically asked for just mayo, cheese, ham, and lettuce. Instead, I was given a pickle and cheese sandwich—which is completely wrong. To make things worse, I’m allergic to pickles, so I couldn’t even eat it. There’s no phone number listed for the store, so I had no way to contact them about the mistake or share my frustration. This was my first and definitely my last time going to that location. Honestly, who even serves a pickle and cheese sandwich? That’s...
