Build-A-Bear Workshop — Local services in Paramus

I am a 67 year old grandmother who stopped in this store with my 70 year old sister who has trouble standing for long periods. Looked around with her picked out 2 bears. Went back outside with my sister to get her settled on a bench. Came back in to get my bears stuffed and pick out some clothes and I am assuming she might have been the store manager greeted me at the door and told me to limit the number of times I come in and out of the store . I stared at her in disbelief as she tried to explain that there was a thermal counter thinking I was another customer every time I went in or out which I think was 3! I told the young lady I don’t want the bears.The store was completely empty except for me at 5:00pm or so. I’ve been buying Build A Bears for my Grandkids for over 15 years. Usually for every holiday. The woman who spoke to me like I was 10, needs some serious re-training . Unprofessional , nasty . 1 star for the young girl who...

Went in the other day looking to create a little something for a coworker who was leaving...could I just say, this was the best service ever. I'm in my mid twenties but am in no way against rubbing a little heart over my heart to activate love for a bear and the peeps working at this store were HAPPY to give me the full build a bear experience and more. They were all incredibly helpful and didn't make me feel like a nuisance despite my being there close to closing. The manager in particular was incredibly sweet and went above and beyond when I made a last minute decision to give the furry friend a voice. I love this store! This, people, this...is exceptional customer service. PS. if you're reading this...She loved the sloth....

This was probably one of the best experiences I had so far with my daughter. She loves Paw Patrol and we made Skye.... from putting her voice in to stuffing her and giving her a heart to giving her a birthday certificate to dressing her.... she created it ! and she will probably remember the experience for the rest of her life....the girl helping us was great and I got it all on video!
