TERRIBLE, AWFULL, DEAMEANING, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE and FLAT TASTING FOOD! I wish I could give negative 50 stars! My teen aged daughter recently got a new job and was so proud that she wanted to celebrate by taking me to lunch!! She knew that I loved Italian food and chose Anthony's. The lack of cleanliness was enough to make me turn around. EVERY table and the floor was nasty. I stayed out of gratefulness. After about 60 seconds of looking at the menu, I noticed a dark haired young lady giving me vibes of irritation because we had not ordered yet. She rudely asked if she could take our order. There was no one behind us. I told her that this was our 1st visit to this place. My way of calming the rude young lady down before my daughter noticed. My daughter was so proud of picking this place out and bringing me here. Too late. My daughter noticed and began apologizing to me. I played it off and tried to engage the rude lady. I asked about the menu. We ordered and paid for our food. Not finding a clean table, we asked if one could be cleaned. 1st our sloppily plated ravioli came. Later, our pizza. Looked decent, but burnt. I asked my daughter, if she was satisfied with the taste. She said no, because it was burnt. Pizza crust =dry sponge. I looked for an employee and only saw the rude lady. I said 'Excuse Me', she looked across the room and yelled "What's Up"! I'm speechless! I asked "May I speak to the manger please"? She then grabbed the food of another table and delivered their food while speaking to me "I am the Manager". I told her the food was unsatisfactory. She continued to speak to me from the table next to us saying she would speak to the chef. She came out the back and said the chef told her the pizza had to be in the oven longer to be sure that the sausage was done. I then told her that we had not eaten but a few bites of each thing, and would simply like our money back. She raised her voice and said that would be a waste of their food. I asked for the Owner, after 7 or 8 min. She then came out the back, on the phone, yelling "No I don't need the Police...It's Fine!!!!" across the entire restaurant. She walked over to our table and said "I just spoke to the owner and All I can offer you is a box and a coupon to come back!" I was so embarrassed, mad and INSULTED! I told her that I did not want a coupon or to come back. I asked to speak to the owner myself. She said that I could wait an hour until they arrived and that she couldn't give me the owners personal phone number. I asked for a box...

I am INCREDIBLY sick of this. I believe in giving places another chance. we have given this place WAY too many. They have beek consistently wrong for SEVERAL orders now. At first I thought things happen, maybe theu had new staff, maybe it was a rough night, etc., but I refuse to make excuses for them any further. Every. Single. F'ing. Order. has at least 2-4 items missing if not more. It has literally gotten to the point that postmates says they might not issue refunds because I've complained about them so many times. Their food has also become subpar, at best. The salads are immaculate, which was the only reason we returned. The pasta has no flavor any more, is lacking sauce, cheese and toppings, and the portions are not what you pay for. We used to love this place. We've gone for years, and I've complained at least twice within the last year about how drastically their quality has declined, to no avail. Additionally, their timing is insanely off. Postmates is usually pretty spot on with their delivery time's and such. I've tried getting Anthonys from their own website (which absolutely NEVER works, by the way), from DoorDash, and PostMates. They are ALWAYS LATE. By at least an hour or more. Do not give them your money. They are not worth the time, effort, or disappointment. We will not be going back. As stated, their only saving grace is their salads and they just are not (expletive) worth those anymore either.
Original Review Usually, the food is amazing. Lately though, it's been terrible. It's always missing something, it's being made differently, and the online ordering system has some kind of glitch so it never actually works. The food will still arrive pretty quickly but aside from that, it's nothing like it...
Read moreCame in yesterday while visiting in town. I had got the cold Italian sub and my gf got the chicken Parmesan. Our cashier was Zach and he is a very nice young lad! Demetrio and Lupe made our food very well as always from what I remembered. Mary and Barry have owned/ran this franchise/location for a decade or more. I’ve been to a number of these locations and worked at many so I know the ins and outs of most these places to a degree. A lot of the locations are hit or miss that I’ve gone to after not working for the company anymore, but Parker has always been one of the most consistent I’ve worked and eaten at. The corporate team should take notion to what Mary and Mary do to emulate a better brand. I’ve seen a lot of locations close which is sad because Denver is a growing market and Anthony’s is a great local chain! I hope to see them bounce back and continue making amazing food. Thank you, for making me fall in love with pizza and it’s culture. Anthony’s will always hold a special place...
