Went here with my wife on a Sunday for lunch. The waitress in an LA Dodgers shirt was really friendly and nice. To start I ordered a Stella and my wife said to the waitress "I'll have the same". Several minutes later, the waitress returned with 1 Stella and 1 ice water, leaving before we had a chance to say anything. After several minutes passed, the waitress returned, and my wife asked, "may I have a Stella as well?" (Red flag # 1). The reply was, "Sure." When the waitress returned with the Stella, she took our food order. My wife ordered the Club Sandwich, and I ordered the Classic Cheeseburger. I also asked for a side of mushrooms, tomatoes, and blue cheese crumbles. The food came out in a decent amount of time without the sides. Eventually, the waitress walked by close enough for me to get her attention. I said, "If the sides are prepared, can you remove them from the check?" She said, "Oh, I'll go get them." I actually said to my wife, I wonder if it will be accurate. The waitress got it 66% correct. She returned with a side of mushrooms, blue cheese crumbles, and a very large amount of Red Onions!?. Upon setting this on the table, she commented, "I'll still remove them from your bill" and quickly walked away before I could say,"I'll pay for the correct sides." Later, she returned, and her attitude had changed. At one point in asking if we wanted another beer, she smiled brightly to my wife and then glared at me but attempted to pull it back when I saw the look. The food was OK. The atmosphere is loud (but expected for a sports bar), there is a lot of seating, and the bar is large. Prices are on par for what you would expect. This is the second time we've gone here, and we likely won't return. Maybe for...
Read moreI was looking forward to trying this place. My sister and I just bought a condo in Parker and my parents love the place. We walked in on a Friday, late afternoon. I require a service dog and she was with me, well behaved, healed at my feet and sat on the floor under the table where we had seated ourselves. A man came to our table and told us to leave with our dog! He never asked if she was a service animal he just straight out loudly, arrogantly, and rudely told me to leave!!! I was stunned, told him she was my service animal and is allowed in any public space per Federal law. I showed her credentials (not required to carry btw) he threw them back at me and snorted “Yeah sure!” He then pulled our waitress to the side when she was approaching our booth and pointed at us with his fingers while glaring directly at me. She was friendly enough but did tell me “ if you’re gonna say it’s a service dog then there’s nothing we can do.” That is calling me a liar with a veil over it. I won’t be back I left feeling embarrassed and like I was treated differently than anyone else simply because I require an accommodation for a disability. I take this dog to my job, Dr. offices, and to upscale restaurants with dress codes and have never been treated like this. HARD PASS for me but hey if you’re not struggling with anything like this I’m sure they’d be happy...
Read morePros and cons:
I have my own little personal wings contest going on, so I like to check out any place with a good variety of wings, but I like the other stuff too... So...
Pros - A great variety of wing flavors, and they have the flavor I like the best Boulder Gold, which tasted great. They have a great ranch dressing, I'm guessing made there. They have a decent ginger ale soda (not as many do anymore). It's a great place to watch a Bronco game as there are a lot of fans, so a little yelling doesn't bother anyone. It's close to home.
Cons - Many of the bones in the wings were broken, so I had to eat with care...not sure what that's about...cost effective? Bulk? They serve those fries that are kind of like breaded... Not seasoned as they taste bland and terrible, but I've seen other places serve them. They must be on the cost effective side also as It's hard to imagine any restaurant owner actually liking those.. If they went with fresh cut potatoes or sweet potato fries, I'd not be writing the cons section at all. And I waited about 25 min (during the end of 3rd quarter of the game?) for an order of wings (one pound=about 8), a side of fries and a dinner salad sipping on my ginger ale) and it cost me $26?! So, a little pricey for the...
