Taste of Philly - Parker — Restaurant in Parker

DO NOT EAT HERE. As a now past employee of the company trust me when I say that nothing that isn't a bag of chips should be consumed. The owner Alex is the worst manager I've ever had. He paid us under minimum, and was always gone leaving 2 kids each night to run the store. I was 17 at the time and still the oldest of his employees that included lots of 15 year olds by making them think he is there only chance for a job.

But you arnt here to see how we were treated, your here to know about the food. Alex would buy the cheapest veggies to the point where 3 pounds of a 10lb bag of onion are rotting. Normally id toss the bag but Alex would force us to dice the rotten food with the fresh! He would look through the camera feed to make sure we did and would threaten our jobs if we didn't. Thats just the beginning, because the steaks shouldn't be eaten either! He will cook a pan and sometime over cook it and claim its fine! There were times when the health department would call, and he'd grab the phone from me and tell them we are busy when no ones in the store. My dad used to own restaurants all over the states so I decided to take picture of around the kitchen and when i showed them to him he made me quit but I didn't argue . So basically after what ive seen, Id feel safer drinking sea water then eating this overpriced...

Ordered through Grub Hub, was missing cheese and chili for the fries. Not a big deal, but we paid for it so we should get it. When I called the restaurant the manager was very rude. First he told me that they don't use Grub Hub they only use Door Dash (so, how did I order food through Grub Hub then?) and when I explained what happened he just said "okay..." and waited for me to speak again. I asked what he could to to fix it and he said "We don't deliver. If you want to come down and get a cup of cheese I can give it to you." I told him I'm not going to be inconvenienced over their mistake, as the ticket that the restaurant included with the food had the correct order. I asked if I should contact GrubHub then, and he said once again that they don't use GrubHub, only Door Dash. I told him I definitely ordered through GrubHub and he said "well GrubHub has your money. We don't even have your money." He was extremely rude and condescending, and not willing to be helpful at all.

Terrible customer service. Don't give your business to such...

The service was great! A man from Spain waited on me and he was cool! The food quality is very good. The cheesesteak-I asked for f/o and was asked if I meant grilled onions (if ever you find a place in Philly that calls them grilled, let me know!) They missed putting mayo and lettuce that I asked for. No biggy. The rolls are decent. The cheesesteak is like what the pizza shops back home in Philly serve. They’re decent. They’re not exceptional (like that favorite place of mine, I’ll just refer to as “The Prince of Steaks”)…..if you’re in the mood for a cheesesteak, this will suffice. Please fix your language-either “wit or witout”, or “f/o”! I can’t comprehend grilled onions!!!!!!!!! I felt very insulted when I said fried onions and he said, “you mean grilled onions!!?”-Just kidding …..thanks for being here in Parker! The Liscio’s rolls are good and glad you have Tasty Cakes-Add Philly water ice and soft pretzels and you’ll be all set! People working there are A+ and don’t shout at you and rush you like they do...
