Today, January 16. My wife n I visiting area. We went to McDonald's but line very long. Went to Wendy's much shorter line. I ordered a small decaffeinated coffee which was printed for 99 cents on the order board. . The hispanic female cashier said would take a few minutes to brew. I said ok I wait. I drove up to to window n coffee immediately ready. I was charged $1.29. I mentioned to cashier 99 cents. A black female employee said that was for breakfast. I told her it doesn't say that. She said she couldn't change since register tabulated that amount. I didn't want to make a big fess so I drove forward. Leaving the line I tasted the coffee. O my word it had bad horrible taste. It appears they didn't brew it right n took a cup of the first grounds. I returned to the line of about five cars in front of me. Waited patiently. When I got to window the same cashier appeared n didn't know what to do. A white male worker took the coffee. I explained the reason I requested a refund. He took it to the prior black employee. They n another white male discussed the situation. The black female employee came over asking me why I was returning coffee. I explained. N she mentioned it was just brewed. I repeated it tasted bad. She said I could get something else but she would not give me a refund. I asked why not. She said she was not going to give me a refund for a dollar. I asked for her name n mentioned again that they charged the wrong price too. She said nothing n closed the sliding doors on the window. I waited. She returned n said to move along. I asked for the name and phone number of the owner. She closed the sliding doors of window again. I waited. She returned n I said I was waiting for the information I requested. She had a dollar in her hand. I took it. Then she closed the sliding window saying she had other customers. I looked for a phone number to call but didn't find one outside the store. I never yelled nor cursed. They still owe me 29 cents. It's the principal of the matter. How are these teens learning how to respect people, be fair n accountable. The city of Parker needs to correct this businesses illegal n/or...
Read moreThis is the first time I've ever bothered to review a fast food place online. However, for this Wendy's, this is the eighth or ninth strike in a row, so I feel like saying something. Since their remodeling a few years ago, the service here has consistently gone downhill. The drive through is constantly 12-15 cars deep at commute time. In each of my last four or five drive through visits I have either been missing at least one item, an item or more from the order has been wrong, or in one case, I was missing the meat from the item (a Dave's Double Cheese), seriously, everything but the meat on a cheeseburger. No, really, I got the buns toppings and cheese...with no meat!
OK, skip the drive-through. I'll just go inside and order face-to-face. Nope. I have ten people in front of me in line. Nobody is consistently at a register. Nobody seems to know their job. Do I bag? Do I handle the register? Should I help the drive-through? The interior of the place is filthy in the lobby, the kitchen and thw bathroom.
I've experienced this now several times inside. There are always people in front of me waiting for their orders, visibly frustrated as I am.
This is my last visit to this Wendy's. Tonight's carry-out order was a Dave's Double meal (received with unmelted cheese, cold buns and meat that was still mostly pink in the middle), a double burger, off what used to be the dollar menu, that was completely cold, and a Jr. Deluxe that was also completely cold. My fries were also lukewarm as of leaving the parking lot.
I have tried this Wendy's so often because it is five minutes from my house. I also tend to like Wendy's better than most of the other big chains. However, it has become obvious that neither the management, nor the franchise owner give a damn about operations quality. They are content to ride the profits of a busy bedroom community who will show up regardless of quality, service or price in pursuit of the convenience of feeding their family.
I would encourage everyone to save your money and stay away from...
Read moreWent through the drive thru to get food as I hadn't eaten all day due to a busy day and recieved cold, old food! I had only noticed the fries being cold and stale upon getting them so I had to go back around the drive thru (lobby was closed) to ask for fresh ones. Guy at the window was super nice but the people making the food were obviously being lazy. Getting home and getting ready to eat, I noticed my burger was cold and when I opened it, I noticed they had only sprinkled a little bit of shredded cheese in the center and it wasn't even melted! It was a major disappointment as it was my significant others and I's dinner and the only meal of the day. I honestly still ate it because I've eaten cold food before but spent the entire night AND next couple of days sicker than usual! My significant other was just as sick too, throwing up constantly. I called the next morning to put a complaint in and was told a GM was going to be in contact with me but have yet to hear from said GM! They obviously don't care about their customers health and at this point, I'm considering going to the health department as my situation isn't being taken seriously. Never going back to this location. Your money is better spent somewhere else, especially if you don't want to get sick from the old food they're choosing to give out just to get rid of it instead of...
