Edit 2: 3 revised back up to a 4! They seem to have paid attention to the quantity and have taken some new measures to be cleaner and more consistent. We've been giving them a try again more recently and have been quite happy each time!

Edit: 4 revised to 3. Everything below is still true, but ever since "the incident" their standards have sunk and their prices have jumped. Two things that shouldn't go hand in hand. This last visit, I watched them take the veggie burger off the grill on the same spatula with 2 meat patties. My veggie burger was covered in meat dripping and mushrooms from the flat top. Straws came without papers, and the man that handed us the unsheathed straws did so with a glove they used to touch the register, debit cards, and the window. You would think cleaning standards would be paramount after "the incident" and ... Nope!

Which window you go to can make all the difference in your experience, but you don't know if you're in the correct window until you're done.

Yes I'm one of those weirdos that gets a veggie burger at a meat place (I'm vegetarian and my partner is not). It's always good, sometimes it's like they warmed it on a pan, other times it's like they put the whole thing in the deep fryer -- either way: delicious. If you get the veggie burger made "the old way" it'll be with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles... But the default way is with cheddar and mushrooms -- mushrooms that are just flat top grilled with meat grease. What's the point of a veggie burger if you're just putting beef fat mushrooms on top? I get cross contamination, and I'm not a vegetarian that's gonna freak bc foods touched, but this is beyond that. Just an FYI to my other veggies.

Partner LOVES the double cheeseburger and we occasionally indulge in the cheese curds, which truthfully can be hit or miss. Fries are always on point.

We go 1-3 times a month so I'd say it's pretty darn good, never had a bad experience, on the worst day it's still a good meal. Their prices aren't necessarily what I would call frugal (LOL), but...

My husband and I normally have no issues with coming to Frugal’s. Well, this time was a little different. We normally order a grilled cheese sandwich with a grilled beef patty on it. Like a patty melt. The woman taking our order kept saying “so a cheeseburger?” No. It is not a cheeseburger. It’s a beef patty with cheese on Texas toast. For some odd reason she couldn’t grasp the concept of a patty melt and ordinarily, whoever takes our order has no issue with our request. She told us a total when we weren’t even done ordering and went on to the other speaker. We pulled up to the window and the very nice gentlemen said “so I have just a grilled cheese and cheese curds?” I had to explain that our order wasn’t completed and explained that we wanted to order a grilled cheese with a beef patty added on and he knew exactly what we were talking about and then took the rest of our order. I wish I got his name because he was wonderful. I also wish I got the woman who tried to take our order’s name too so I could put her on blast for walking to the front and laughing about our order saying “that’s not how they said it” and calling us “stupid.” It doesn’t take a lot to just say “could you explain what you’d like?” Instead of continuing to try and correct the customer and then calling them stupid, when in fact, we were not the stupid ones in...

The location next to a pot shop and corner store makes this place crawl with tweakers and sketchy individuals. I waited in line for 15 minutes so I had lots of time to hide behind my locked doors and people watch. This place should have faster drive thru service but hey, maybe it was just Sunday night it was slower. The fries are frozen, and I'm not sure about the other ingredients.. just what I observed from the pay window. I had high hopes when I pulled in, and by the time I got my food, my standards were lower. Legs get this straight, I'm by no means upset with this place. The food was actually super tasty. I got a cheeseburger, hamburger and fries. All of them with an original, fresh flavor. This place has a special one of a kind taste and it's a must try for the price. I paid $10.86... that's cheap.. for the value and what you get, 8/10. This isn't a 10 only because the food could've been hotter, the service speed and customer service could've been better. The benefits to this place are the value and overall good quality and taste. It's a solid...
