Marco, the heart and soul behind this vibrant food truck, has been serving up international flavors for four months, patiently awaiting the bustling tourist season that defines South Florida.

During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying the Pan con Chicharrón, a traditional Peruvian sandwich that instantly transported me to the streets of Lima. The sandwich was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors: the pork was succulent, the sweet potatoes had a delightful char on the outside with a creamy interior, and the salsa criolla provided a perfect tangy contrast that tied everything together. Every bite was a celebration of authenticity, showcasing the meticulous care Marco puts into crafting his dishes.

What sets Sandwich World apart, beyond the delectable food, is Marco’s commitment to creating an immersive dining experience. Even though I didn’t order a drink, Marco graciously offered an Inca Cola to complement my Peruvian sandwich—a thoughtful gesture that underscored the international inclusivity of Sandwich World. This unofficial combo deal made the experience feel complete, reflecting Marco’s deep respect for the cultures his food represents.

As we chatted about the challenges of running a business during the off-season, I found myself connecting with Marco on a personal level. His dedication to his craft, despite the financial and staffing hurdles, mirrors the struggles many of us face in different industries. But what truly stood out was his passion for bringing a piece of the world to South Florida through his food, a passion that is evident in every carefully constructed sandwich he serves.

Sandwich World in Boca Raton is an absolute gem. The food is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. Every sandwich I’ve tried has been packed with taste and perfectly prepared. You can tell they put pride into every order.

The owner, Erick, is the best! He’s super friendly and always makes you feel welcome. His passion for great food and great service really shines through in every interaction.

I stumbled upon this sandwich place by chance, and I’m so glad I did.

The menu offers a great variety, you can find authentic sandwiches from all American the continent. I love the Choripan and the Cuban Sandwich.

They also have fantastic sides—don’t skip the “Salchipapas” they are so good, they don’t disappoint.

Prices are reasonable for the generous portion sizes, and the service was quick even during the lunch rush.
