For those foodies who love authentic Gujarati Rajasthani cuisine and are in the Morris county areas of Parsippany through Clifton through Rockaway and Ledgewood , look no further.. because Spice Grill Kathiyawadi food is right in Parsippany on Route 46. The food is delicious, the ambience is amazing and the chefs are extremely talented. I am thankful the owner Mitul Bhai brought Kathiyawadi food to Parsippany !! The Thali is unlimited with four sabzis, roti , bajra rotli, kadhi khichadi , sweet and Chhas. Lots of pickle varieties are also served. The a-la-carte menu is superb especially try the kaju lasun sabzi .. something I tried and relished for the first time. The ambience is extremely eye catching with little flags on the ceilings and amazing Indian artifacts on the walls. The Krishna display over the wall was so so beautiful. Coming back to the food, it’s not spicy and is very easy on the digestive system. One would think the food would be very oily but NO .. It’s just moderation in all these dishes that make you want to eat more without thinking about having stomach issues later. In short, we relished the food. The pricing is also very affordable and the unlimited option is the best thing. We also sneaked into the other part of the restaurant which had an amazing buffet option and could see some good looking paneer and saag dishes along with some non vegetarian options. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this gem of a restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The authenticity of the Kathiyawadi cuisine is simply unmatched. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for what was to come.

The menu is a treasure trove of traditional flavors, and every dish I tried was a revelation. The Sev Tameta nu Shaak was an explosion of flavors—tangy, spicy, and utterly satisfying. We went to this restaurant as a family (party of 9) where we had teenagers, young adults, middle aged adults and a senior (80 year old) in our party because they serve North Indian food, Chaat food as well as traditional Gujarati food under one roof which keeps everyone happy. Our young adults tried Kathiawadi Thali for the first time in their life and they loved the variety, authentic taste of the food and h ow unlimited Thali was served as we ordered second helpings of things we wanted more of. The bajri rotla, rotalis, Undhiu, black chana, sev tomato, methi gota was some of our favorites. A couple of people in our party ordered daal makhani, bullet naan, garlic naan, cheese butter masala made with Amul cheese etc. and they really liked what they ordered also. The service was great, the ambiance on Kathiawadi side (decor) is very authentic.
