Bubba's 33 — Restaurant in Pasadena

Bubba's 33 was an absolute magnificent find. We were in the area taking care of business and looking for somewhere to eat afterwards. Bubba's came up on the Google search, so we gave them a try. And oh my, I'm glad we did. It had a nice atmosphere, kind of like a sports bar with more televisions 📺 that I would like to count. There is definitely not a bad seat because you can view several televisions from anywhere in the establishment.

The service provided by Mr. Caleb was definitely top notch. He was prompt, very knowledgeable, and provided some great recommendations as well. The food was absolutely fantastic. We had the Black Bean Veggie Burger, Philly Cheesesteak, Crooked Fried Cheese, a Cup of Chili, Hot Wings, and cheesecake. The burger and cheesesteak both came with seasoned fries where you can modify them (add toppings like cheese, bacon, etc.) or sub for another side. Everything was on point. So much so that I went back the very next day and picked up some items to go. I wanted to switch it up and try one of the pizzas that were vegetarian friendly, but I stuck with the Veggie Burger and tried the spicy version that included fried jalapeno cream cheese on top. The fried jalapeno cream cheese can technically stand alone and be served as an appetizer. By the way, the Veggie Burger is huge! Not to mention that my wife loved the cheesesteak. It is hard for her to find a place that makes a great cheesesteak. Bubba's definitely climbed to the top of her list to get a cheesesteak. I'm going to just stop right here before I end up back there right now. 😁 Anyway, everything was absolutely fantastic. Would recommend to anyone. Unfortunately, I recently chose to live the vegan life, so I'll never get to try one of those pizzas. Please enjoy one...

Excellent place for friends to get together and having dinner

Ordered drinks to start.. Long Island Ice Teas for $4? Yes please.. comes in a small mason jar but don't let the size fool you cause its BIG on taste, well worth it

Ordered garlic knots for the appetizer, excellent start, its come with marinara and cheese dips.. .

I ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich with Fire Fries (Bubba's 33 recommended menu entrée) .. comes with a massive spicy chicken patty with a artisan bun, excellent fixings... the fire fries are spicy.. very, very, spicy.. and thats where I had a small issue with the preparation of the food.. the hot and spicy chicken sandwich itself is great but I can't agree to call it spicy if the fire fries overtakes the heat from the main entrée.. still great food none the less

Most of my friends ordered the Bacon Guac Burger with Fire fries.. all of them were satisfied with the food while one said the fries were 'too spicy, Mexican salsa spicy" lol

Our server constantly checked on us and refreshed our drinks quickly. Helped us with our food choices with her personal recommendations amd givea us a friendly chat about the establishment. Thank you Jennifer for the friendly and excellent service.

Manager came over to check up on us and gave us incentives to come back by showing us the Monday and Tueaday night specials and addition to the everyday after 10pm $5.00 specials which I am interested in trying.

My friends and I will look forward to coming back to Bubba's 33...

Ok, I'm going to star by saying that I love Bubbas one of favorite places to gang with my friends. Yesterday Monday 6/27 I choose this place to have lunch and Diner with my coworkers...my boss and I got to the restaurant at 12:40pm Tyler was our waitress. 6 other people got to the restaurant at 1pm we all eat and drink for 3 hours, some friends left and more join in...we stay there till 10pm. So from 12:40 to 10pm Tyler was our waitress the whole time. We spent $700 what I can remember maybe more but not less. So around 9:30 Tyler came to the table and told us that it was lost call for drinks so we were confused because on the goggle and online website said they close at 11pm. It was ok , so we order our last round of drinks. After 5min the MNAGER came to our table and start moving stuff from our table without asking and talking to us in a really bad manner...we were tipsy not drunk. She look at our drinks and said if you don't finished right now I'm going to take it...I didn't understand why she sold us extra drinks at 9:30 and 5 min later she was asking us to leave. She was talking to the cashiers about us and looking at us with a mad face...I don't think we were rude to anyone, specially not her!

My point is I spent my money at my favorite restaurant and I get treated like poop by the Manager.

We love the food and the place .. we may be going back . But we should have not been...
