I'm a fan of build your own type of restaurants so glad a new taco spot opened up in Pasadena. Since this was a post workout meal I opted to get the bowl-rito to-go. Just like other build your own fast casual spots you pick what type of meal you want. They have a variety of things from taco plates all the way to a 9" "small burrito" if you aren't that hangry. There is wide selection of proteins to suit any taste and dietary needs. What's unique is that they have some signature styles to top off your meal or you can choose your own toppings you want. If you don't want to hassle with building your own meal then you can choose from a list of featured selections under "more good stuff". Your able to upgrade your meal to add chips, salsa, and a drink or order those items a la carte. Breakfast is served all day here and they have a kids menu. Sometimes you need a sweet ending to a great meal and here they offer churro bites with carmel dip.
Despite ordering for takeout, the service at Chronic Tacos was outstanding. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that my order was prepared promptly and accurately. They maintained their high level of attentiveness, providing excellent customer service even for to-go orders.
If you're looking for a Mexican cuisine spot that offers customizable options and great service, Chronic Tacos in Pasadena is a must-visit, whether you dine in or order for takeout. Their delicious food and attentive staff make for an enjoyable experience that will leave...
Read moreI had been wanting to try this place for a long time and I had to pick up a cater order so before I picked up my cater order, I ordered on Post meats a breakfast taco with bacon and pico de gallo. It had a large amount of big onions, so I cannot even taste. I was picking large onions out of the breakfast taco I ended up, just trashing it because they were all throughout. I don’t know if that’s how the pico de gallo was made, but it wasn’t chopped uniform with the tomatoes just really big thumb nail size on onions disgusting raw. I also ordered a Asada burrito for My Son that was OK to his liking however, I ordered a chicken burrito and added fajitas. I had no chicken whatsoever in my burrito and on the outside of the burrito it did say fajitas. When I arrive, the girls were laughing talking so clearly I don’t feel that they were paying close enough attention to what they were doing at first they couldn’t find my order. I’m very dissatisfied because I’ve been hearing good things about this place. And I was with her to go order it didn’t even give any salsa for the tacos or burrito so I’m very...
Read moreOrdered the taco bowl and it was pretty easy to order. The employee helps put together the bowl for you and you choose your protein and sauces. The bowl tasted good but they put very little of the protein I chose and it was also cut very small so it looked like more but it actually wasn't. I also added guacamole on the side for an extra $2 but they gave me tiny scoop which was not worth for that price. I went to another location and they gave much more meat and guacamole there, so that was disappointing. Overall, I still think the taco bowls here are very good but it is a shame that their portion is a bit sad. A lot of rice and veggies but very little...
