If I could give 0 stars I would! TERRIBLE customer service along with TERRIBLE management and ownership. I raved about this place to people for so long and boy do I regret it.
I had an interaction the other day that I believe with all of me was racially motivated. I think the worker's name was Victor. He was extremely rude and super comfortable being that way and the owner Adaline (I'm going to check to see if she actually owns the place) condoned his behavior. I ordered a tuna melt and onion rings for pickup. When I got there there were orders lined up all in bags and I told Victor my name and that I was there for pick up. He looked at the bags already ready but none were mine so he went to the back to check where they put the orders just prepared. He grabs my order and comes back to the register and asks me do I want a bag? I'm thinking to myself, why wouldn't I want a bag for my food that I am picking up to take TO GO?! But I just responded yes. He then proceeds to ring my order up. After he finished I asked for ketchup and the orange sauce it's like chipotle. His response was just stank. Tells me that the sauce is extra. A $1.50 extra. I proceeded to tell him that I have never paid extra for the sauce and he said well it's extra and turns and walks away to get the ketchup as I was talking to him. When he returned he put my food in a bag along with the ketchup and I said I think it's sad that I just paid almost $18 for a sandwich (which in my opinion is too expensive but I liked the place so I was supporting) and you decided to go back and forth about a sauce that's extra and I've never paid extra. He then proceeds to say something but because of his masks I could not hear what he said. I just said whatever and proceeded to leave. He then gets loud and says no not whatever you get back here! I'm thinking to myself who does he think he's talking to because I am not a child, your child, and what gives you the right to summon me?! I continued to leave because it would have gotten ugly if I went back and all for a sauce not worth it! At that point I should have given the food back but I was hungry. I got in my car and replayed everything and was UPSET! So upset that I loss my appetite. I emailed Adaline and called the other location trying to get in contact with management. She ended up calling me within 10 minutes and I told her everything that transpired. She was apologetic and I told her that I just wanted to take the food back and get my money.
I met up with a friend told her what happened and she told me that she doesn't think I should go back because he was rude and out of line and no telling what he would do or act when I went back. We were also out running errands so I was like let me call Adaline back and tell her that I may not make it back before they closed. It was like 6 in the evening and they close at 8. I called her back and told her and her response was, "No food, no refund"! I couldn't believe what I heard so I just hung up. I was extremely inconvenienced and treated with such poor customer service and that's what you say?! I ended up getting there to return the food almost when they were closing. The same douche was still at the register I put the bag on the counter and said I was there for my refund. He opened the bag and examined the food and said, "Oh I see you took some bites". Then got the tablet do the refund and asked, "what time did you come in" "how much did you pay" "what's the last 4 of your card"? All those questions I felt were unnecessary and meant to poke the bear! I told him that his customer service sucked and when I proceeded to ignore all of his dumb questions he said, "Ha and you said my customer was bad"! Then asked me if I wanted to take a picture of the refund!
Prices are too high so you'd think there would be consistent great customer service but nope! I will continue to tell others about my experience and let all the people that I told about this place to no longer support their...

I think it's so funny that only because now I'm trying the vegan lifestyle am I just finding places like Real Food Daily. I am always in or around the city of Pasadena and never once have I payed attention to it. Oh man have I been missing out lol
So good I came by twice in one week, yes I said twice in one week!
Let's make this short and sweet ;) On the first visit I took my mother out to dinner and we are both living the vegan lifestyle so this was a no brainer to give a try. On the second visit I brought a friend because I was so blown away on how delicious everything was the first visit lol
On both visit service was just top notch, I was so impressed by all the staff and how professional and knowledgeable they were of all the details. Mind you one visit was during dinner rush hour and the other was during breakfast time.

1st Visit -Breakfast Burrito -Jackfruit Tacos (3) -Margarita Pizza -Nachos
2nd Visit -Buffalo Tater Tots -Chai Latte -Americano -Breakfast Burrito
Also available for dine in or take out is a good selection of desserts and treats, who doesn't love vegan sweets!
I could not just pick one item to recommend because everything was just prefect and flavorful. The portions are just the right size to enjoy as well.

If only I could give this restaurant "ZERO" star. I went back to complain because they charged my card the whole amount of our bill even though we gave our server $25.00 cash.
The waiter who served us was apologetic and even offered to give back the difference in cash, that looks like coming from the tips that he got. Which I appreciate!
He asked the manager for approval. When the manager came to us, he interrogated me and the waiter on how does he know that it's them who charged the amount. It's pretty clear from my bank app transaction that it's "REAL FOOD DAILY - PASADE." His voice sounds like I was fooling them. Which I would not do! Take note that I was driving back to Pasadena all the way from Cerritos. The tone and approach that he used on me were not very managerial if you'd ask me. The server was already owning his mistake!
I have tried to resolve this with my bank, but they said that the charge was valid and that I should deal with this by contacting the restaurant to edit the final transaction charge (since it's still pending).
SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, CHECK WITH YOUR WAITER IF THEY DID CHARGE YOU CORRECTLY. AND DOUBLE CHECK BY VERIFYING WITH YOUR BANK.
