5-star coffee, 0-star integrity. Had been going here regularly for a couple of years, typically tipping about 18% most of the time depending on my current money situation but always tipping when prompted by the cashier. One morning a new gal with an odd, aloof vibe rang me up - she didn't ask if I'd like to add a tip and I was in a hurry, so I didn't tip that morning. I just happened to check my bank statement and saw that a 30% tip had been added that morning without my consent. After that I couldn't bring myself to go back because it just felt wrong. I sat on it for a bit and eventually decided to call and let a supervisor know what happened, hoping it would restore my faith in their previously excellent customer service. Wanted a quick matcha, before going home. Expected the drive thru wait, no big deal. The line was long so one of the workers, an asian female, came out to the cars to take our orders. She was very helpful and nice. I go up to the window to pay for my drink and was helped by another worker with brown hair, tattoos and green eyes. I wanted to add a muffin because it looked good and was already charged, and she told me to pay again, for both drink and muffin. I told her that my bank had already been charged and to just pay for the muffin. She told me to hurry up and I do not know what I am talking about, and she rudely handed the muffin+drink at me. If I am getting charged 7.60 for a small iced matcha, it would be nice for the cashier to be in a good mood. First woman was helpful and nice, second one just killed my vibe. I came across this place by accident. I had pulled over to park on the street and saw this place in my mirror and thought it looked cute. And, I was blown away by how good my coffee and drink was. We got a basic black coffee (which was super rich, bold and smooth), and a Chai latte with add shots. The chai latte was the best chai latte I have ever had. It was so good.
