Not a great experience. Kolaches tasted super yeast-y, glazed dnut had unusual texture, and when I got up to leave an employee was even more rude than she was when she took my order. I couldn’t see a trash can anywhere since it consisted only of a hole in the counter. I assumed they must pick up the trash. I went to leave and she barked, “EXCUSE ME!” At me, and pointed at the trash can hole in the counter. I can honestly say that I’ve never had a customer service employee order me to throw something away. I did not like it. And the review below is right- they...

I think you have to be a Houston native that has grown up on Shipleys to like them, because there are several other mom and pop places and other smaller local chains, and even the newer location of a popular national chain just down the street, that offer vastly superior donuts that don't have the rubbery constituency of a car tire. Unless you're in the market for a cheap car tire, in which case slap 4 Shipleys on your ride and you're good to go! And forget about the kolaches... you're better off going...

Went in to get my son 2 dozen sprinkle donuts for the last day of school the older Hispanic lady at the check out said she didn’t have enough I could clearly see in the back they had more so I pointed it out she said no only 1 dozen. So I got 1 dozen of sprinkles and another dozen of normal donuts, as she was filling up my normal box they put out a whole new tray of sprinkle donuts -.- this is why I shop with local and not big retail! I’ll stay with my local donut shop Donald donuts...
