If I can give this place a 6th star I would.
First of all, it's inside a bookstore (Vromans), which itself is already amazing! Grab a book and go to the cafe? Deal!
The cafe: it's Latin owned and the inside/decor is amazing. It presents the culture. Lots of plants and artifacts.
The coffee/pastries: I've tried almost everything here and have not been disappointed. From their regular lattes, to the horchata lattes, to their black coffee. Iced and hot, they are all really good!
Their pastries are homemade. My go-to is their lavender flavor cookie. (The chocolate chip cookie was very good as well).
Service: Everyone here is BIPOC and are all lovely and amazing humans. Will answer any questions you have. Will be willing to give any recommendations. They accommodated me as there were no tables left and made space for me so I can get some work done.
They also provide super fast wifi! (Not a lot of outlets though, so bring or BUY A BOOK?
Free parking in the back.

Read moreIâve been wanting to try this shop since it opened and Iâm so happy I finally made it out here! Ordered a hot awakened pour over specialty (pictured here) & Iceed warrior coffee blend w/ vanilla syrup. 10/10. Also took home my own 12 Oz medium roast coffee bag âïž The flavor was rich and just enough strength of espresso. Read reviews over pricing being high, however, the prices arenât bad at all. Youâre paying for quality coffee here and the pricing is worth it. Plus, youâre supporting a Latino business. Once again, 10/10.
Staff were super friendly and welcoming once you enter the shop. One of the baristas heard me say Iâve been wanting to try their coffee forever and he said, âIâve been waiting forever for youâ â which made me smile. You can tell all the staff put their heart and soul into the shop.
Definitely worth making the 30 minute drive back! Next time will be here earlier to...

I was told the machines were being calibrated so I figured Iâd wait since I was there right at opening. 20 min pass Iâm still waiting the Barrista comes and tells me she is still calibrating the machine, so I figured ok maybe 5 more min.. so 5 min pass and I kindly ask if she had my drink and she literally asked â Why do u have somewhere to be?â I was taken back because itâs non of her business and I was patiently waiting not even being rude the rest off staff was nice but did witness this. I do want to return since we like the place but that girl ruined the experience, I even have A Tepito t shirt I love what they stand for but that girl really just ruined the...
