I purchased several pieces last year (like 6 necklaces and a ring). My first fail happened with their Playboy bunny necklace. I wore it for the first time 4 months after purchase for a dinner and a rhinestone fell out. N9 dancing or hard wear just dinner at a restaurant. Since it was a large order and supposedly hand-made I reached out to ask for any help. I even asked if I could just be sent a new stone to have it repaired at my own expense. Their customer service did not care that their item which was expensive at $60 only made it through a single wear and held to their 3 month warranty period. I was one month past. I should have known then because since that the other necklaces have either tarnished or broken even though they're not worn on a regular basis. I don't feel for the price the quality is there and the company doesn't back their items the way a truly hand-made jeweler would. Don't fall for their use of influencers who they give items to for free. These pieces, though aesthetically pleasing, are cheaply made for their price point. Though I can't mention other names there are several retailers lower than this price point with better service and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love my Dalmata jewelry. The designs are really fun and pretty, and the founder clearly puts a lot of heart into the pieces and in speaking to her cult following. I am very happy with the qualityāthe chains feel heavier and sturdier than cheap jewelry, and neither the gold, silver, nor cz stones has degraded at all. The earrings do not bother my sensitive ears. I wish that a lot of the earrings were sold as a pair, for the price, but I donāt blame them. They run promotions often, and all of the pieces I have are honestly so nice to just hold! Sometimes something is worth the price because it truly sparks joy haha (and supports small businesses and slow-fashion), especially customized pieces and gift purchases. My only suggestion is to be more transparent about sustainability, supply chain, and your plans to improve further. But of course, that goes for just about everyone ever. I think Dalmata is great for young adults on a budget who are ready to transition towards longer lasting jewelry. Actually, my first time ordering, there was a mishap in proccessing/shipping, but I got amazingly kind and generous assistance over email. I have ordered twice...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a necklace mid February & received an order confirmation email shortly afterward that included a tracking number. The email said a shipment label had been created. I checked the tracking info. several times but there was no movement with the package. After two weeks, I reached out to Dalmata customer service. They informed me that the necklace I ordered was out of stock & that I could have a refund or choose another piece of jewelry.
I feel that the necklace should not have been available for purchase in the first place if it was not in stock. Additionally, the Dalmata team should have reached out to me sooner if they realized the could not fulfill my order. Although the customer service team was helpful, I should not have had to reach out to them wondering where my package was. I don't believe it was handled professionally. I would...
