Tropical Chill — Restaurant in Pasadena

Before you read any further you should know Tropical Chill is CASH ONLY. I love this place. I only knew about the Center Street location until my niece turned me on to this Pasadena location. It usually is not as busy as the Deer Park one either because it is on a side street. The sno cones are shaved ice and taste great. My favorite is strawberry cheesecake with cream mixed in. We love Tropical Chill! Snow cones are made with shaved ice and they have lots of flavors. 2 large and 1 medium snow cones came out to $8 and some change but they are very large cones. The Tiger's Blood with cream is delicious. Lots of outdoor seating in a very quiet space. Our Deer Park Tropical Chill is a staple during the summer but has not opened yet so we decided to try the Pasadena store. It was just as satisfying and priced the same. Edit: They are open. They're facebook says they're open 12-8pm nowadays. The other person who left a review saying they are closed is probably confused since the place does close alot when it's cold.
