Juanita's Kitchen Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Pascagoula

Another place I've returned to after an extended absence. Ate here once months/years ago, but only being open for breakfast and lunch I rarely stop to dine. Decided I wanted breakfast before work on a Saturday morning. This place reminds me of the breakfast dinners if my hometown that my dad would take me too. They were *Greek diners, so slightly different, but eggs are eggs. It wasn't too busy and sat myself. It was a few minutes before I received a menu and service, but I was in no rush. Ordered the asada steak and eggs, and while everything tasted great, there were a few mistakes. I ordered cubed potatoes, but received hash browns instead. Also ordered toast, but it didn't come out with my meal originally. I finished most of it before I got my bread to soak up my runny eggs. The steak was good though and the eggs cooked perfectly to order. I didn't complain about the hash browns as they were good too. I waited a long time for this place to open and now I'm not only happy that it did but of how good it is. I must say this is the first Mexican restaurant around that serves breakfast and is the main reason why I wanted to try it. My first order was the breakfast burrito (ham, scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese and a side of homemade potato hash. See picture). I was not disappointed. If I could give it negative stars I would. The service was terrible. Stopped for a quick lunch and it took over an hour to get a meal that usually takes 5 minutes. And did not get the order correct. Had to ask for chips and salsa, a fork and had to get up to go ask for a drink. This was not during a busy time also. But the waitress found flirting with a group of customers closein age more important than taking care of the other tables. The food was not that good either. Nothing worse than waiting almost an hour for good that don't taste good. They will not get my business...
