I had never eaten here before. I have only brought friends to eat here as I'm not really the fan of Asian cuisine. Well, recently my palate has expanded and I've opened up my tastebuds for it. My friend invited me to try this place.
Now, I have had sushi at Sake Express and Nikko Japanese Restaurant. Only those two. They both make excellent sushi and the rolls, even if they're named the same they will always be made differently with a very different taste.
The roll that I want to spotlight here at Red Bento is the Tiger Roll. I have had it at Sake and Nikko but Red Bento literally beat them out of the water. In terms of flavor, Sake puts more sauce on their's and it literally has you avoid any dipping into soy sauce. Red Bento also has that and while they put less sauce, it's less enough that you can actually taste the freshness of the cucumber which I absolutely enjoyed. The crunchy cucumber was the one detail I also appreciate. Fresh and crunchy, just like real cucumber has to be. The avocado, the shrimp and the sauce combination were exceptional into making Red Bento's delightful Tiger Roll.
The second roll here is the Super Shrimp Tempura Roll. First of all, wow. I had never had a deep fried roll and was absolutely thrilled to try my first. I love deep fried food. Well, least to say I was mind-blown. I should've been careful because I burned my tongue but man, the crunch was so perfect and all the ingredients inside still kept their taste! While I will say warm avocado isn't necessarily the most enjoyable ingredient warm, the shrimp inside will make up for it. The sauces are the cherry on top. So savory and full of flavor, the Deep Fried Super Shrimp Tempura Roll will have you coming back for more.
Three things that need to be fixed. Air Conditioning, I was sweating. Tables were sticky. Flies.

Well my husband went over to pick up the food but they said they didnāt have an order for me? They took $41 out of my account for some reason. My husband calls me to let me know whatās going on so I send him the emailed receipt and proof it was from that store that I ordered from! Well these men didnāt know what the hell my husband was talking about, they donāt have chow now or online website ordering but it didnāt make any sense since they took money out of my bank account under their name! The manager comes out to help and my husband told me that he seemed very drunk, slurring his words and tells him that they donāt know what ChowNow is. I told my husband to leave since they kept saying that they donāt have ChowNow or online ordering, so he did. I immediately call ChowNow and they had great customer service! I told them about the issue and requested a refund, they try calling Red Bento a few times but it seemed as if the restaurant blocked ChowNows number so he immediately canceled my order, issued my refund, and called me right back to let me know that it was very strange as to why they didnāt make my order if they accepted and order through Chow Now the same day! After I heard that I got very upset.. and now my husband and I are never going here because of the bad customer service. Do better please if I could rate 0...

first time ordering, last time too. 𤔠tonight, i went here to order at 7:28PM and ordered a chicken yakisoba. iām not a regular but iāve picked up before for ubereats orders so for those who are a regular, you know the lady with an attitude that iām talking about that takes orders. i saw her put in āvegetable yakisobaā and i was confused because i said chicken yakisoba so i repeated āi said chicken yakisoba right?ā and she looked at my receipt, said āyaā, before proceeding to give the paper to the chef. i had assumed everything was fine until i got home and saw that my order was indeed the vegetable yakisoba. the presentation was sloppy, bag was leaking too!
the host/server didnāt care that she had inputted the order wrong even after i asked her to confirm what i had ordered. no wonder she didnāt give me my receipt because i know damn well it wouldāve said āvegetable yakisobaāšš i ended up driving back at 7:55PM because i did pay a $20 meal only for it to be incorrect, and guess what? she had locked the doors already at 8PM with no explanation despite the hours being stated that it closes at 9PM. also, donāt bother to call because their number doesnāt work. hours of operation is incorrect and their āto-go orderā sign with their number is not valid. wasted my time, gas, and money. never recommending...
