Had to make a quick pit stop in Paso Robles. Decided to grab brunch. Found this diner on Google maps and decided to check them out. There was a little bit of a wait. The guy at reception desk made a comment to his coworkers that weekends are always busy. It was a very cute little diner. You could wait for a table or grab a seat at the bar. We waited no more than 10 minutes. We were greeted and our drink order was taken. Then a couple minutes passed and the waitress came to take our order. I ordered the country fried steak, my dad got the mushroom burger and daughter got bacon and eggs kids meal n I got the churro waffle for us to share. The food was great good size portions. We were surprised at how many mushrooms came on the burger. My dad did mention he wished the mushrooms had some seasoning but still good. I was surprised the churro waffle didn't have any cinnamon or sugar like a churro but my daughter was excited for the ice cream on top. Overall a good experience. If we ever stop in Paso Robles it's definitely worth...

This was my first time going to Maggie's to have lunch I'm just in the area for two days across the street and this cute little hotel I'm staying in I'm doing some business here there were five other restaurants I could have chosen fast food but I chose Maggie so that I could sit inside after reading the menu I ordered the French dip sandwich and fresh french fries and a chocolate shake and I shared it with my sister wow definitely worth the money the shape was 850 but it gave us two full glasses with whipped cream on the top for 850 the sandwich was 1499 and we split it and we still had leftovers it came on a platter this is all fresh food none of it comes from a can we're going there tomorrow morning before we take off to go back home because the lunch was so fantastic out of this world definitely a five-star tomorrow we're going to go in the morning it opens at 6 a.m. and closes at 9 p.m. Monday through Sunday you really need to check this out you will not believe how good this food is service outstanding highly...

Had the Denver omelette with hash browns and biscuit. Maybe the cook at lunchtime doesn't make breakfast items. The eggs were way overcooked and made for a flat, not fluffy omelette. The hash browns were good. The biscuits were OK but are not the fluffy, tender Southern biscuit I'm searching for. Declined the gravy, but wish I had paid the extra $2.25 to enhance the flavor and hide the texture of the biscuits. Other tables elected to order lunch items and they looked pretty good and the diners seemed happy with their choices. I have had terrific lunch and dinner items here. Looking forward to their chicken fried steak dinner someday soon. Service was friendly and prompt. Surprised to see so few people there during the noon hour. I could be wrong, but, this might be the last Margie's Diner left. I remember their first place that opened in Morro Bay. Loved it and enjoyed eating in several locations throughout the years. I hope this one thrives and continues to feed those of us who need 'real food' and a comfortable...
