China Star Kitchen — Restaurant in Passaic

Let me start by saying that I’ve been buying from here for more than 10yrs (I believe they have new owners for the past year or 2). I ordered tonight and the chicken looked like it had been reheated more than once but the inside was pink, obviously undercooked. For the 1st time ever I felt I had to complain about the food. I was able to speak with a manager (JD, I believe) and his response was “please accept the food this time and i’ll make note of it so it won’t happen again”. So, to their logic, i’m just supposed to consume pink chicken this time but it won’t happen again?! To say the least, I’m very disappointed with how things were handled, especially since they’ve been my spot for all these years, and I won’t be buying...

In order for me to complain, I had to give a star. I don’t deserve a star. I ordered half a chicken with pork fried rice and there was a cockroach in my autistic sons meal.UPDATE:so the owner decides to say if such thing happen I called and the store so many times and they stated they was coming for the food they never came so yeah I spoke to the owner they did nothing but tell me they gonna give me new food. Food is good however my only issue is tipping-I ordered for delivery-my bill was $12 and I said I’ll pay driver $3-and the caller was like $3? a few times and I said yes. I know things are tough but is like I should be ashame for a $3 tip-im not rich or have any money to just give give, wish I could but is crazy putting me through this guilt trip. I gave a tip!
