Ordered through app and when I arrived no one came to the register. Finally after being acknowledged, someone came and she put my plate together. Thank God I was not looking at my phone and directly at her shady azz. She acted like she didn't speak English but she clearly does. Her rude trifling self along with her counterparts will get their karma. She dropped a piece of meat, picked it up and was ready to put it in my plate. When she noticed I was looking she laughed and threw it away. I should've walked out then but she continued making my plate giving me another piece of meat when another girl suddenly took over. This place is UNSANITARY, unprofessional, and filthy. I don't see how people dine in. I ended up throwing the food away because it tasted salty and NOT FRESH. I got old stale pasta, old hard rice, and one piece of tough chicken. No bueno. Come better.. I will be complaining to the app as well.. NEVER AGAIN! STAY AWAY! Just go...
Read moreI’m trying to be generous here. This was my first time going to this restaurant and as soon as I stepped in I felt lost. No one told me if I should sit down or just order upfront. I went to ask and they seemed unbothered. I didn’t know what they were supposed to serve and they didn’t have a menu either. I told the girl who was attending me that it was my first time in this place and she tried to explain my options but she wasn’t too precise (I didn’t know how many options I had, nor the prices); I didn’t want to ask more questions so I chose the rice (arroz con pollo) and rotisserie chicken. The rice tasted old, and like it was just reheated and mixed with leftover chicken. I really wanted to eat the food but I just couldn’t believe how bad and old it tasted. The rotisserie chicken was the blandest chicken you can find in the area (like seriously not even salt?). I left with a weird taste in my mouth and felt sick throughout the day. Not...
Read moreWeekend double up!! I ate here 2 days in a row it was that good. My first time I had steak and arroz con gandules. The meat was so tender I cut it with my fork. The rice was exactly the way I like it and the food was so full of flavor. My meal with a can of Coke came to $7.The next day I had the same rice with pollo a la brasa and candied maduros. The chicken unfortunately was extremely dry. And I mean to the point you had to drink something with it otherwise it would get stuck in your throat. Fortunately the candies maduros came with a sauce that I poured over the chicken and that’s how I was able to eat it. You can’t beat a $5 lunch deal so I’m not going to complain too much. I’ll just be sure to get the stewed chicken next time. My meal with soda and a piece of tres leche cake came to $10.36. This place is worth the money bc the portions are large and the food is amazing. They’ll be seeing me...
