Taps Deli — Restaurant in Passaic

I saw the commercial. I saw the good ratings. But I wonder why the close so early? Also I don't see that anyone mentioned fried chicken. I see it mentions soul food. I'd like to try their food. I live in Essex county. But I only read reviews about fish and oxtails; not fried chicken. So I wonder if they make/cook it. Also I clicked on the grubhub menu to view it for orders. I don't see macaroni and cheese, oxtails on it. They should add those things. The reviews mentions mac & cheese, oxtails. But i don't see that on the grub hub...

First time my wife and I stopped in here today and we were not disappointed. We were greeted with hello's before ordering which is always nice esp. as first timers. We got a cheeseburger & a turkey club. Yes, simple items but you'd be surprised how people mess up the most simple things, but this was not the case here. The burger was delicious with cooked onions and thinly sliced tomatoes and my turkey club had perfectly cooked bacon. Love mom & pop spots because the service and food go uncompromised. Dear TAPS DELI. My husband and I visited your place this morning for the first time after seeing your commercial on TV. We had your fish, Mac n cheese and collards. It was delicious. We're originally from Brooklyn NY. We've been living in NJ for almost 8 years. We've been looking for a soul food place in NJ and we found it.
