Bakhlava House in Paterson, New Jersey, is a delightful gem that stands out for its exquisite Middle Eastern desserts and inviting atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with the warm, welcoming ambiance that instantly sets the tone for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. The interior is thoughtfully designed, with soft lighting and charming decor that make it the perfect spot to unwind while savoring a sweet treat or sipping on traditional beverages. The highlight of my visit was the kunafa, which was, without a doubt, the best I’ve ever had. It’s a delicate, light masterpiece that melts in your mouth with every bite. The shredded filo dough was perfectly crisp, while the cheese filling was rich yet balanced, not overpowering in its sweetness. The syrup drizzled on top added just the right amount of sweetness, enhancing the flavors without overwhelming them. This kunafa truly sets the bar high for any Middle Eastern dessert and showcases the kitchen’s commitment to quality and authenticity. In addition to the kunafa, the variety of baklava offered at Bakhlava House is also top-notch. Each piece is beautifully crafted, with layers of flaky pastry and just the right amount of sweetness, making them a perfect complement to a cup of Turkish coffee or tea. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Whether you’re in the mood for a sweet treat, a casual bite, or a relaxing coffee break, Bakhlava House in Paterson delivers in every way. If you're a fan of Middle Eastern desserts, this place is a must-visit.

Baklava Home - A Sweet Slice of Turkey in Every Bite! Wow, just WOW! Baklava Dom is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Turkish desserts and a cozy breakfast experience. From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a little café in Istanbul. The smell of fresh pastries and the sound of Turkish tea being poured set the perfect mood. Let’s talk about the kunefe—OH MY GOD. It’s crispy, cheesy, syrupy perfection. The moment you take a bite, that beautiful combination of crunchy, gooey, and sweet hits your taste buds, and you just KNOW you’ve found something special. And the baklava? Pure heaven. Every layer is buttery, flaky, and melts in your mouth with just the right amount of nuttiness and honeyed sweetness. But what truly seals the experience is their real Turkish tea—strong, fragrant, and served the proper way, in those delicate little glasses that make you feel like you’re sitting in a traditional Turkish café. The service? Absolutely wonderful! The staff is so friendly, welcoming, and passionate about what they do. You can tell they pour their hearts into every dessert. If you love authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and desserts that make you close your eyes with happiness, this is THE place. I’m already planning my next visit—because once you taste Baklava Dom, there’s no going back!

Baklava Home is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves Turkish sweets. Located in the heart of New Jersey, this cozy bakery is the perfect spot to indulge in some of the most delicious and authentic Turkish baklava you'll find anywhere.

The baklava at Baklava Home is simply outstanding. The layers of phyllo dough are perfectly crisp and flaky, and the filling is just the right amount of sweet and nutty. Whether you prefer your baklava with pistachios, walnuts, or a combination of both, you won't be disappointed by the quality of the ingredients or the skill of the bakers.

But Baklava Home is more than just baklava. They also offer a wide range of other Turkish pastries and desserts, dry fruits ,cookies, and kataifi. Each item is made with the same care and attention to detail as the baklava, ensuring that every bite is a truly memorable experience.

What really sets Baklava Home apart is the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to share their love of Turkish cuisine with their customers. Whether you're a longtime fan of Turkish sweets or just curious to try something new, you'll feel right at home at Baklava Home.

And let's not forget about the coffee and tea! Baklava Home serves excellent Turkish coffee and tea, both of which are brewed to perfection. The coffee is rich and flavorful, and the tea is fragrant and refreshing. They also have a wide selection of high-quality lokum (also known as Turkish delight), which makes for the perfect accompaniment to your coffee or tea.

Overall, I would highly recommend Baklava Home to anyone looking for a delicious and authentic taste of Turkey. From the quality of the food to the warmth of the hospitality, this bakery truly has it all. So, whether you're in the mood for a sweet treat, a hot cup of coffee or tea, or simply want to bring home some of the best Turkish baklava and lokum you'll find anywhere, Baklava Home is the place to go.

I had a horrible experience: The customer service is poor! It was not my first time being at that place, and I am aware of the slow service and very cold reception. I made my order to have kunafea with pistachios and cheese; however, it came without pistachios. I informed politely the waiter that this is not what I have just ordered and if he could please get me what I wanted. He took the plate and came back in one minute with exact same wrong order and he added a spoon of grounded pistachios on the top. I told him this is not what I ordered and I think this is the same exact wrong plate he said “Yes; and if you eat it I can give you a discount.“ What kind of wok ethnic is that by him trying to fool me [wrong plate is already less expensive than what I have ordered so technically there is no discount]. If this was my first time being at the place how would I know the difference between the two types of kunafea? If I didn’t ask does that mean I will be charged more for something I can get with less money. When I decided to leave the restaurant, the lady behind the counter said she doesn’t have enough staff. So, I asked her that I didn’t want to be in her shoes; and I said “If you are overwhelmed you should let me know that your kitchen is closed and I can leave.” She basically called me a rude person. I would like you to know that customer satisfaction is a must for any business. A word to that restaurant manager: Please take customer feedback about your bad customer service seriously and try to improve your customer service; this is a huge weakness and I’m not sure if your business can survive with the failure to meet customer...
