Tried this place out for the first time because of the really great ratings on the Slice pizza app. While the pizza tastes pretty alright, the one big thing I noticed was that it had no sauce. And I'm not talking - light sauce, I mean literally not a drop of sauce at all. I was able to let it cool a little bit, peel off the layer of cheese and it was just clean white bread.. I also asked for garlic on my pie but it had none that I could find. No garlic aroma either. I did have a single bite that I tasted what must have been a single grain of chopped garlic but then never again for the rest of the pie. Service is absolutely horrible. The person at the store is rude and unprofessional. We placed an order at 8:52pm we were told it will be there in 15mins. At 9:15pm driver called said he was outside. When I went done driver informed me there was no pizza and called the store. He told me he would be right back. At 9:45pm I called the store to see what happen and the person stated that he would send the pizza. I tried to explain to the person and he stated very nasty and rude why we do not pick it up. This is hands down my absolute favorite pizza EVER, anywhere. I've had "the best" pizza all over NYC and NJ, Chicago, etc etc but this is the only place I mention by name and beg my grandma to make a special drive to when I go visit! Same incredibly sweet owners since I frequented their original location back in grade school, and theyre still just as sweet, kind, and welcoming as ever.
