Taormina — Restaurant in Paterson

I grew up eating the Pizza that this wonderful family serves, I will co-sign that food til the death of me! My entire childhood was spent visiting Taormina, not a single thing bad to say about the quality of the food, the service, and how quickly they operate. It’s the only Italian Eatery I was guaranteed to return to (nothing against the others, but They Not Like Us… Team Taormina all day and every day). Easily my favorite spot for a succulent slice of sustenance! To the Taormina Family, can’t wait til I get back to town to say hi and get caught up with life, because ya’ll always let me know I belonged there, never once felt unwelcomed…been missin ya’ll terribly; did ya’ll know there are places in this Country that don’t realize a Pizza is a Pie!? I asked for one here on the West Coast and they said they don’t sell pies!! Had to school them real quick for ya’ll, and I never returned to that...

I been going here since I was little kids The food is amazing can’t complain. But the only thing i’m only putting this comment it’s not right there portions sizes went small and there pizza is much more smaller. But then they want to up charge prices that’s not respectful for people that went there for years your charging expensive prices and going smaller on your food I can count how much chicken that goes into the chicken special. Plus why are charging more if not putting more in ther food plus the area is in the ghetto it’s not even in a nice area. Like I said if your going to charge more put more chicken or make the pizza bigger don’t cheap people out because your loyal people will stop coming. But i’m not going to knock it the food is amazing not happy with the portion sizes...

I love this place. Their food is second to none. However, I had a bad experience with one the employees today, in that when receiving my change back, I held my hand out and the young man placed it on the counter. He clearly saw me with my hand out. I consider this to be extremely rude and disrespectful behavior, and I'm turned off by his poor customer service skills. I didn't complain at that time, so I'm complaining now. I can only hope the proprietors of this great establishment see this review, and offer him additional training to serve the customers better. The guy I'm referring to is a young Hispanic man. I'm only mentioning his ethnicity for identification...
