Disappointing Experience at 10th Ave. Jerk Center

I've been a loyal customer at 10th Ave. Jerk Center in Paterson, New Jersey, visiting your restaurant almost three times a week because I truly enjoy your food. However, my recent experiences have compelled me to voice my dissatisfaction, and I feel it’s important for you to understand the weight of losing a customer like me.

While I appreciate that the food is consistent, the service I receive has not been. I have often overlooked the unpleasant attitudes from some of the staff, including the manager, thinking it was just a rough day. Unfortunately, this has become a pattern that is hard to ignore. Each visit should be a pleasant experience, yet I’ve found myself leaving with a sense of frustration.

Today was the tipping point for me. I was told cannot be fulfilled in the same manner as it has been for the past eight months. Such inconsistencies I had to walk out and leave my food behind due to the lack of consistency and respect for loyal patrons like myself. It’s disheartening to feel like my support for your business is unappreciated.

I went there to pick up an Uber Eats order. There was a lady standing behind the counter on her phone and a older women sitting in a chair. I walked up and said, "Hello I'm here for an Uber eats order" then I turned my phone around. Not once did she lift her head to acknowledge me. So I looked at the older women that was sitting in the chair. She automatically looked at the young lady that never acknowledged me. Then the older woman got my Uber eats order and I said thank you. This is my first time eating Ackee and SaltFish at the Jerk Center and I brought someone. The store looks not too shabby however, when we walked in the guy behind the counter (never got his name) was putting freshly made "Patties" in the glass display case. He didn't say anything to us when we walked in which was not good how ever the food was great! The Ackee and SaltFish was fresh and the ingredients were good. It also came with boiled dumpling, yams, and plantain. Also fried dumpling!
