Norma's — Restaurant in Pauls Valley

I went to Norma's today, thought I would try one of their hamburgers. I had never eaten there before. I use to eat her papousa from the food truck. They were always good so I figured their hamburgers would be good too. So the young man who took my order seemed preoccupied, I told him I wanted a hamburger with everything but pickles and that I wanted mayonaise instead of mustard. The young man asked me if I wanted a cheeseburger. I asked him if I had mentioned cheese and he said no. I told him I wanted the hamburger cut in half and I wanted it to go. When I got my order I thought $7.60 was a little high for a hamburger. I never checked my order until I was down the road I must say the flavor was excellent. Since my initial visit here. This location has become my go-to of choice. The staff here has proven to be consistently friendly, and the atmosphere offers a relaxed pace of life that you can go and think when it's not busy and enjoy a good meal. It is true that they can be busy on weekends and certain times of day but with a small business like this that offers consistent fast and friendly service it's to be expected.

Similarly, on my previous visit before tonight, I tried the burger and fries, and that too was quite tasteful! :)

I was very disappointed in the food. I was traveling from Wynnewood to Oklahoma City and stopped through at Norma's to get an order to go. I know someone who knows the owner and highly recommends this restaurant. I ate here once before and the food was outstanding! I ordered the same dish as last time, the "3 Enchilada Dinner". It was about 7 pm Wed Sept 6th. Stopped at the park within a few minutes to eat. The tortillas were dried out on the edges, and the cheese inside was just in a big lump and not even melted.
