As a decades-long Subway customer, I know how the sandwich should be put together most effectively-- ways that affect taste, handling, and neatness. When a sandwich maker slaps the meat and cheese in willy nilly (off-center, with no concern for spillage), we're off to a bad start. This was my experience today at the Payette location. As it was, some of the cheese melted outside the sandwich and stuck to the paper. I shouldn't have to ask for the sandwich to not be further adulterated by plopping the veggies in with no care as well, but I did. This made for a sloppy mess eaten on the go.
Additionally, before I got out the door, I found the beverage station dirty and not stocked. (Iced tea dispenser was dirty/needed a good wipe-down, and there was ONE straw left in the lid and straw caddy after I took one for myself.)
I then used the women's restroom, where I found myself stranded with no toilet paper. (Not fun!)
I wanted to alert the guys on duty when I left, but no one was up front, and I was in a hurry.
I frequent this location on my way up and down the US-95 corridor between Fruitland and McCall, and today's experience was not...
Read moreSo sad that each subway is different and owned independently. Each one has their own interpretation of policies. It is ashame being that they were the record breaking franchise for years. They set the standard of how to be successful when it comes to franchise. But lack so much in a standard that mcdonlds has found.. keeping the same policies at all mcdonalds. Same understanding at each facility. At this particular location they choose to accept some coupons and place their own rules on the coupons. Limiting one purchase per order of a coupon that states no limits. The owners show their failing in their business by expecting the public to make up for their personal issues of their own franchise guidelines and policies by twisting policies at each store to fit their failings. Time to step it up subway and follow the policies that were set to make you successful. Get over your disagreements and follow procedure from the top. If you dont want to dont buy into a franchise. Just like i dont want to deal with your homemade policies being that you are a franchise so i will not frequent this...
Read moreCame 09/17 at 3:05, ordered a cold cut footlong meal, two employees were working, a young girl with short hair in a pony tail and a man who seemed to be in his 20s. The girl didn’t know the difference of pastrami and salami, so the guy grabbed the meat off my sandwich and SNIFFED IT!!!! Yes, he literally sniffed it up to his nose. The girl looked so confused about it too. (AS WAS I). I asked it to be thrown away and he did. The guy was putting bread in the oven while singing to some PROFANITY music that was blasting in the back…. Cussing up a storm. I’m in my 20s and this came across as extremely unprofessional and weird. Then, I paid $13 something and asked the gentleman what size drink it came with and he said “honestly whatever you want, it doesn’t matter” (I know it matters and costs the store money). I just grabbed a small. This store owner either doesn’t care or doesn’t pay attention...
