Chin Chin Chinese — Restaurant in Peachtree City

My wife and I wanted some good Chinese food at a place that wasn't a buffet. We looked at the reviews for this place and decided to check it out. When we walked in, the placed looked more "upscale" and we were kindly seated right away. The server was very professional and seemed intent in taking care of us, so we were excited.

We asked for water to drink and then placed our food order when they brought our waters to us. After the server walked away, we quickly noticed black things floating around in our waters. We immediately called for our server and told her about the situation.

She said that it was probably just "dirty ice" and that happens sometime. We were like, "OK" and she proceeded to get us new waters. Even though the "dirty ice" comment grossed us out a little, we were still willing to stay.

However, the next waters she brought us had the same exact problem. That's when we decided to walk out. We let the hostess know on the way out, so they wouldn't continue to make our food. It really is too bad because we were very hopeful...

WOW. What a pleasant surprise! Small strip mall that included a Waffle House and a tanning place. We were searching for another restaurant and I just happened to see it. I had not had Chinese in a while. The wonton in the soup was delicate and light. The sauce for the crab rangoon(WOW--utterly delicious!!)was so good! I had been searching for Chicken Hunan that was just right and I found it here! The customer service impeccable! Genteel and low-key without pressure and so mellow. The décor--light touches of elegance and haute couture. Totally unexpected and definitely a restaurant I will visit again. By the way, the prices are reasonable...and the food is amazing. I ordered a good bit of food from this location and travelled over 30 minutes to pick up my food as this is the closest location to me. When I get back to my residence 4 of the shrink fried rice I ordered was not good at all. The shrimp was extremely soft and mushy. Of course I tried to call but the location was closed at that point. I called the following day and was told to bring back the rice I had the night before in order to get a refund. We have been loyal customers for years so I found it very off that they’d ask for the rice that was ordered for dinner to be brought back instead offering to remake the order. We bring the rice back and was only offered a $25 gift card. This is poor customer service and we will never eat at this location again! If I could give zero...
