China Buffet of Pearl — Restaurant in Pearl

I recently visited China Buffet Restaurant with hopes for a pleasant dining experience, but from the moment I arrived, the service I received was consistently rude and unresponsive. Despite my efforts to maintain a friendly and polite demeanor, the waitress assigned to my table (Cindy) seemed disinterested in providing even the most basic level of customer service. Not once did she acknowledge or respond to my expressions of gratitude when I requested a refill or assistance. Even a smile or a nod would’ve sufficed, but I didn’t get anything but more rude and uninterested behavior. To make matters worse, the situation took a turn when it came time to settle the bill. Suddenly, the waitress's demeanor completely changed, and she was asking how the food was, saying thank you, etc as if anticipating a tip. She even watched over my shoulder as I filled out the receipt. However, her demeanor switched, once again, as soon as she noticed that I had left no tip. In a rather unprofessional manner, she said, "I take it back,”(pertaining to the the thank you that had just came out of her mouth),she snatched the receipt from my hand, and proceeded to storm off. This final interaction only showed her complete lack of professionalism and courtesy that had plagued the entire dining experience. I hope Cindy was just having a bad day, but my guess is this is a stunt she pulls regularly as if the customers won’t notice her complete changes in behavior when it comes time to pay. I was also very uncomfortable with the fact that she watched over my shoulder as I filled out the receipt. The funny thing is she would have received the basic 10% if she had just continued her indifference because I understand bad days and I think the way waitresses get paid is ridiculous. BUT the obvious ploy to try and soften me up for a bigger tip honestly felt like a slap in the face and her reaction afterwards just confirmed it. I hope someone sits down with her and explains that none of this was ok and definitely not the way to get...

I don't recommend this place. Food is great and they have a good variety and service is good. But I had Bariatric surgery the Sleeve and I have a card that says I need a child's buffet or plate because I can't eat a lot of food. I got a plate and I had literally 1 spoon not heaping spoon of about 5 things. The plate wasn't full by any stretch. You could see a lot of the plate. And I couldn't eat all I took. But three of the waitress kept hovering around my table area watching me eat and talking about what and how much I was eating. They made me most uncomfortable because even though I couldn't understand them it was so obvious what they were saying and doing. Then they went got a supervisor/manager and she did same thing but from a little bit further. I had a little friend with me that I always aye there with before surgery and she was used to bringing me refills when she got hers. I got no refills on anything myself. My friend brought me a chocolate ice cream . I thanked her but told her I couldn't eat it because I was too full from my dinner. And she was disappointed so I tried to eat most of it and I just couldn't. So I left food on my plate and ice cream. Anyway they charged me full price. I said no it's supposed to be a child's buffet. They said no can't do that. But before I ordered they said they could. So I paid it after arguing a bit but said I won't be back. And Supervisor/manager smiled and pointed to my little friend she knew how much she loved going there said yes you will you will bring her. I said watch me. It has been over a year and I haven't step foot in there...

Yesterday I went in with my brother and his wife the food was outrageously cold and stale it tasted like it's been there for days, we asked the lady that worked there and she said it wasn't her concern. The food is disgusting the crab meat you think is real but it's just imitation crab, you can tell by the taste, they want you to believe that it's good crab but it's not it's disgusting and let's not mention

When me and my sister use to go here, all they want is tips Encounter one: I tipped 1.50 cents made the decimal clear and what happens next when me and my mother leave we see the server follow us out to the car as my mother rolled down the window she screamed 1.50 10 times even after I said yes, she didn't even deserve the dollar fifty.
