Last night, Tuesday 7/29/25, my boyfriend and I visited this bar after the movies, hoping to enjoy a drink and some wings for National Wing Day. Unfortunately, what we experienced felt discriminatory and uncomfortable, enough that I feel compelled to share. I have NEVER had an experience like this in 23 years of living. We sat at the bar, and CRYSTAL (the bartender) approached us in a noticeably unwelcoming manner. Before greeting us or taking our order, she immediately asked to see our IDs if we planned to order drinks, which is fair. I handed her my valid state-issued ID, and my boyfriend presented his temporary paper ID because his card had expired and the new one is currently being mailed to him. Crystal stared at my ID for an unusually long time, about 20 to 30 seconds, then questioned my boyfriend’s ID, flipping it around and saying, “You don’t have a real ID, this expired a few days ago.” He calmly explained that it was temporary. She left to ask her manager, then returned saying she could not serve him, which we were willing to accept. However, when my boyfriend said I could still order a drink, Crystal left again and returned saying she now could not serve me either. She claimed my ID was “too zoomed in” and it made her “worried”. She also proceeds to say “it looks fraudulent”, and stated the manager said it was “too zoomed in”. She said her manager told her not to serve me, even though the manager NEVER saw my ID. When I asked to speak to the manager directly, it took a while, and Crystal's voice started shaking. She admitted that they do not have a scanner or any tool to verify ID authenticity and just “felt something was off.” The “manager” came to the bar looking for the “expired ID” then Crystal told her to check mine because it was “too zoomed in”. The manager whose name is JOANNA backed her and repeated what the bartender told her while glancing at my ID. At the time, I should have asked for the police to be called to VERIFY my ID since they could not but continued to assume it was “fraudulent”. However, with the accusations of having a fraudulent ID and the unwelcoming service it definitely was not worth the trouble. At that point, we decided to leave. As two Black customers, we could not shake the feeling that we were being profiled. We were treated with suspicion, denied service without a consistent or valid reason, and made to feel like we did not belong. The shifting explanations and lack of reasoning made the situation feel unjust and targeted. We came in excited to enjoy the rest of our night. We left feeling disrespected, embarrassed, and singled out. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that all staff are trained to treat every customer with fairness, consistency, and respect...
Read moreWell I normally dont write comments in review but this last time here was just a disappointment . After school shopping I decided to take my family here an let me say this, if I can eat wings 5 times a week I would but I hav to compromise with my family . anyways we walk in an find a booth it was fairly empty . I had to ask the hostis if he can see who was our waitress . Well she finally walked over an doesnt greet us r anything an just asks what would we like to order . my wife had a question about one of the drink an she snapped back wit an attitude . Now dont get me wrong I know we all have bad days n trust me I take all that into consideration. My son is a waiter so I know we all have r days . after she take our food an drinks orders she just walked away . . When she bring out our food she tosses it on our table an then walks off . after 15 min of waiting since she didnt say ANYTHING an just walked off but she didnt mention anything about our missing order I had ask the hostis again if he knew anything about our waitress cuz we was missing 1 of our orders . when he come back he said their wasnt nothing put in that he'll reput it in an it should be out soon. WELL after my order was brought out by our waitress she place on the table an made a sarcastic smirk towards my wife an walk away . That was enough for me.. I spend alot of money everytime I go their cuz my family of 6 an I just dont appreciate rudeness an attitude . I work hard for my money an I go there to enjoy my time wit family an away from work but then we hav to deal wit that. What upset me the most is me an my wife calm n quite people an it put me in a uncomfortable position to hav to ask for the manager. I told him I was unappreciated of the service we got from our waitress an I expressed how I feel like I shouldn't hav to pay for something I couldn't enjoy r eat due to our waitress ruining my appetite BUT I WASNT THERE TO GET A FREE MEAL . I just wanted eat some WINGS . THIS WILL BE MY LAST TIME AT...
Read more"Val" and "Crystal" are "managers" who sit back and let the servers struggle. Delegating tasks from behind the kitvhen double doors with their hands in their pockets. I'm only giving service 2 stars because Alfredo was new, but patient and doing his very best. We were here for our grandfather's 77th birthday. He'd seen the commercials and wanted to give it a try. TV is playing infomercials, not sports. VAL, the manager is rude, dismissive, argumentative, unprofessional, and condescending to his staff in front of patrons. This manager, VAL, refused to provide assistance to this party of 12, telling us his single new server would be right with us. Food was cold. Ranch was watery. When i asked him to take my uneaten plate back, he didnt even bother asking why. Atmosphere is drab, dank, and dark. Go elsewhere. I feel sorry for my grandfather. Such a simple man, deserving of a decent meal and game. Instead, we sat for 2 hours and received sub par food. The poor servers had zero support from management. I waited 40 minutes to pay my bill. I EVEN DREW LINES ON THE TICKET TO SEPARATE THE ORDERS FOR THEM. Still I was charged for what I ordered plus an additional partial charge on some of the alcohol and dips. I went to the front asking for a manager to help my server break the ticket down properly so that I could pay and he threw his hands up telling me I didn't have to pay for everything, as if that would change the fact that my grandfather's 77th birthday dinner was RUINED. My family feels very disrespected and disregarsed. Don't waste your time. I'll be pushing this...
