Thai Cottage Pearland — Restaurant in Pearland

Came here with family and ordered papaya salad, duck curry, tigers cry (beef and fried rice), and pad Thai. Overall, the food quality was good. You can choose spicy level of all dishes.

The curry was sweet and creamy with a good blend of spice. My only complaint is that I feel the duck curry was misrepresented in the picture. On the menu, you can see large slices of duck with skin sticking out of the curry. The duck we got were small pieces and NO skin at all. The quality of the curry itself was good, but the duck was quite disappointing.

The papaya salad was tangy, fresh and cool. The beef on the tigers cry was warm and tender. The pad thai was savory with nicely sized pieces of shrimp!

Otherwise, the tables were nicely organized and clean. Waiters were very attentive and helpful with describing menu items. Would comeback for most dishes, but not...

It has been quite some time since I have been to Thai cottage. I usually go to the one in Webster but they replaced that one with another restaurant and I refuse to go there. Anyways, I am glad they did not close this one down. The service was very good, very attentive. They made sure to refill my drink. The salad that came with the lunch portion of my food was still as great as before. Love their peanut dressing. I am still unhappy with their peanut rama. I get it with chicken. The chicken they have decide to get is not very good. It is very off putting. If you do get the peanut rama probably get is vegetarian style no meat. Other then that I will probably go back. I am still unhappy that they decided to make the wings of paradise a 5 piece instead of leaving it a 10...

I ordered online for a pick up, and should have let the increased prices and lack of a lunch menu deter me. In the past I enjoyed food here, so I gave it a chance. First issue is paying $40 for 2 basic curry dishes. Also my husband prefers beef, but this wasn’t listed as an option anymore with the green curry. Then I requested spicy level 4 for him, 3 for me, and neither was spicy at all. I already felt like I got cheated for my money by this point from the mediocre food, but to make matters worse, we both had upset stomachs after eating the food. Waste of time & money! I don’t know if management changed or what, but I don’t plan to return here. Sad, it used to be my fave curry spot, but I can make better...
