Summary of what is written below: Do NOT order delivery service from this restaurant. It won't arrive.
I cannot speak for the food, but after I placed a delivery order they told me it would arrive in 30-45 minutes. They closed at 10pm, and I placed my order at 9:15pm. Needless to say, no food ever showed up and when I tried to call I couldn't get an answer as they were closed. The delivery guy never knocked at my door. They didn't try calling my phone number back to say they had arrived. No one even called me the next day. Nothing.
I checked my Visa and I had still had been charged the full amount I ordered, and so I called to get a refund. They wouldn't put me on the phone with the owner, manager, or anyone higher on the totem pole than the cashier. Finally, she "called the manager's phone number" and got a refund approved but wouldn't even entertain the idea that they called me the next day, or anything for that matter after her excuse was that she was just a cashier and couldn't help. In fact, they went so far as to blame me and said I wasn't home and this was my fault.
I'm 99% positive that the manager was right there, and simply did not want to deal with me, but her excuse was "Sorry, I call him to ask, he not here right now. He say wait 24 hour for refund." When I, again, asked to speak to the manager. It was unclear, but I couldn't even tell if I was being refunded the tip I added since I was paying by credit card and just had it included on the initial charge.
Considering I tipped the driver 33.3% of my meal cost I would think he could've made a little more effort to make sure my food arrived, but then, I doubt they ever even sent a drive out in the first place. Heck, leave it on my doorstep if "no one was home", like she claimed the manager told her.
An apology from a manager. Crediting my card without me having to call them, first, after I got off work the next day, and them being the one to call me. Or not having gone hungry the night before waiting for my food to arrive until it was too late to order anything else once I knew the food wasn't coming. And perhaps a complimentary meal of equal cost given all my troubles would all have been ways for this restaurant to have earned something higher than a single star. As is, I would give it 0 stars if that were even an option.

Read moreI’ve often ordered here and have really enjoyed the food. Today started out as pleasant any other time I’ve orders here, until one of my co workers had a compliant about her order. I placed the order online and the delivery was quick. The food was hot and 2 of the 3 lunch specials I ordered were great. I called and spoke to the man at the desk and he was quite unpleasant. I simply asks if I could exchange the order with the issue for something else because something about the taste was off and my coworker was very unhappy with her food. I took on the trying to resolve the issue because it was my suggestion to order here. The guy was very rude and insisted that the meat in the pepper steak was the same as the meat in the beef and broccoli which is what she wanted to exchange it for after she tasted one of the other meals. After going back and forth he agreed to let her exchange it but assured me that an exchange would not be allowed next time. I went into the restaurant smiled and spoke. He did not acknowledge that I said anything to him. He grabbed the food and plopped it down on the counter in front of me. I handed him the food that I was returning said goodbye and walked out. I will not ever order here again. Customer service is a necessary part of all businesses and this is completely...
Read moreImperial China Diner near Kroger's must be trying to conserve money. It was pretty good for a while, but we haven't been there in a long time. And we won't go back after today.
Their TV service was off, which isn't a big deal but something I noticed because instead of turning the TVs off, they simply left the "no connection" message from DishNetwork display continuously.
Their edamame must have been from steam-in-the-bag or just not fresh.
And finally, in the main dishes we ordered, we had to dig for the meat. There was so much bell pepper, celery, and cashews (or almonds in my husband's dish), that we scooped off about a mounded plate's worth between us. My husband said he maybe had about maybe 5 bite-sized pieces of chicken. Mine was chopped so fine that I sometimes couldn't tell if it was a cashew or piece of chicken.
To top it off, we were the only ones in there, and we STILL got poor service...wih 3 waiters doing nothing but watching very loud videos on their phones. Don't waste your...
