7Spice — Restaurant in Pearland

To call it extremely disappointing would be an understatement. Here's why!

We arrived to find the piece nearly empty, but the music so loud that you could barely talk over it. Add to that when I ordered for one of my guests, after she told the guy at the counter what she wanted he asked me to repeat it, so I did.

My other friend then ordered and I ordered. We waited a rather absurdly long time for the blackened catfish. But her order never came out.

I went up and asked him where the order was. He said it would be just a few minutes. We waited for her food to come out, until again I went up to the counter to find out where her order was and he said that he hadn't put it in. He then proceeded to blame me for not ordering it!

He then went into the back and stood there laughing with the cook and another person, while two customers waited at the counter. He completely ignored them as he went to the back, as well as several minutes while he joked with the other workers.

The food was decent, but not great. Heavy on the salt, light on depth of flavor. Even the tartar sauce was only OK at best. The rice was overcooked, the fish was decent, but nothing special. Especially for the high price!

You'll find a lot better quality, price and service at another restaurant. I don't recommend this...

I've been here before but only for takeout. The food was excellent. This time around I had time to dine-in for lunch. The guy at the counter said approximately 10 mins but my food came out in about 3-5 mins piping hot. The service was quick & great, nobody was rude or anything.

Their house seasoning was super good, I highly recommend it & the spice level that I asked for was on par. I did take a lot of reviewers' recommendations about their 7Spice butter sauce & it was definitely worth it. I read that some people complained about them charging for sauces, well there are signs everywhere that they cost extra & it's not a lot of money either, I feel that some people are just too entitled & absurd.

I got the Duo's Delight combo & with an hour lunch it was enough food & time. The boiled seasonings on its own are already good with my meal, but that butter sauce just amps it up. It was so good! I will definitely come back again.

Side note: At the counter their machines don't ask for tips when you check out. That's super rare these days because you can sneeze & they wanna tip. I do think they should put a tip jar out because the place was pretty clean & sanitized. When I came there someone was already wiping down the tables as people...

This location is not worth the time or giving them your money. I have been to this location twice and will not go back. I have been to other locations and they were really good but this location disappoints. Sometimes they are not on top of cleaning. This location over cook the chicken tenders which mean they become really dry. They even burnt my chicken one time and tried to cover it with spice, gave old fries. Another time they got my order wrong. Which that day that was the one thing they managed to do well with many customers...get the orders wrong. I asked for a refund that day and the manager didn't want to give it, he said we remade your order and we have it ready.While he is talking to me my order did not show up. I had to ask if it is ready then why is it not here, you're here talking to me when I should have my order or a refund. Please folks go to the next closest location if this is a must have for you but don't give this location the time or business. Poor customer service, over cooked food, burnt food, order screw ups, usually not clean, the guy running the kitchen is a screw up, and they can't handle a crowd...
