I visited Smoothie King today as I do every other morning. I decided to go a little later, due to the fact that the store is NEVER OPENED ON TIME.( constantly having to wait for the store to open every other morning) For starters, I was not acknowledged from anyone in the store, which was weird, but I still placed an order. There were 3 employees on duty that I could see, a young lady working drive thru, a gentleman that could possibly be the manager, and Charles H. After placing my order I waited patiently and as I waited I over hear Charles slamming down the blender and saying, " I ain't no mothaF* slave. I'm hungry and would like to get something to eat but nnnoooo I'm making all these damn smoothies by myself. " Now granted I did order 4 smoothies, however that does not excuse his behave nor his language. I frequent this particular store because it is one block from my job, however I am going to take my business else where. I would rather drive 10 minutes out of my way every morning before every giving Smoothie King anymore of my money knowing you all allow this type of behavior.( saying that considering the manger was standing right there and did not say anything to the gentleman). In all my years of working in customer service I have never seen or heard such language being used in front of the consumer.

I’m in town from Grand Rapids - for business and family - stopping into Smoothie King was a great move to make.
I came in and was pleasantly greeted by the team, walked up and was immediately inspired by Ms. Mia and her expertise and just her being her.
I told her I was traveling home - the first leg of my trip required me to do some work and that if be on the road for about 10 hours - I needed something to allow me to focus, sustain energy, while not gong over board.
Essentially in 50 words or less she made the perfect recommendation - perfect flavor - and the timing was great.
Long story short - for business or pleasure anytime I come into town in Houston - I'm making a point to come to this location.
Thank you all for the experience. While it will be different everyone - today for me it was great. Even topped my experience at Buc-Cees and I love Bucs.

Read moreManagement please train the staff well. I was overcharged for a smoothie, yes only .99 but it’s the principle. I have ordered the same smoothie for years and I have NEVER been charged an additional amount of money for substituting another fruit because I’m allergic to the fruit that comes with this particular smoothie. After paying, I noticed that the bill is a bit higher and I head in to speak with the service rep., after explaining that I order this all the time and no other Smoothie King establishment charges me for substituting a fruit he disagrees. Well, needless to say, I’ll never be back to this location and as I know they won’t miss my roughly $9 or so daily, but again, it’s the principle of the situation as he did not attempt to inquire he just stood his ground which is fine and as he said, as I walked out, “Have a great day!”, thank you...
