Papa’s Gyro & Grill — Restaurant in Pearland

First time visit — absolutely amazing!

My husband had a craving for kebabs, and instead of going to our usual spot, I decided to look for something new nearby. That’s when I stumbled upon Papa’s Gyro & Grill — the 4.9 rating caught my eye, and let me tell you, it’s well deserved!

We were beyond impressed. My daughter and I shared a large gyro and chicken bowl, and it was not only flavorful and fresh, but the portion was so generous we had leftovers to take home. My husband ordered the chicken kebab bowl with a side of beef kebab and didn’t leave a single bite behind — he absolutely devoured it.

We also tried the hummus, which was honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I know hummus sounds simple, but this one was rich, creamy, and possibly topped with roasted garlic — whatever it was, it was perfection. To drink, we had the mint lemonade and mango smoothie — both refreshing and delicious.

The person who took our order was super friendly and helpful, encouraging us to take our time with the menu since it was our first visit. It made the whole experience feel welcoming and relaxed.

We were too full to try the baklava (regrettably!), but that just gives us a reason to go back — and we definitely will. This place is a hidden gem and absolutely worth the visit. The 4.9 stars are no exaggeration!

My daughter and I came here following her golf tournament. We were starving and hot. We ordered at the counter with the friendly gentleman behind the counter. The restaurant was refreshingly cool and plenty of seating. We ordered two small bowls of lamb over rice which was delicious seasoned cubed cut lamb over freshly made jasmin rice. The bowl was also topped and nicely organized with a scoop of fresh chilled lettuce another scoop of chopped tomatoes and another scoop of chopped onions. I was a little worried how the chilled ingredients would mix with the hot ingredients but it was perfect. We also were given a small container of tzatziki sauce and another small container of what seemed like seasoned red colored tzatziki sauce but it wasnt spicy just a different flavor. I also ordered the mint lemonade which was sooo refreshing and perfectly sweetened with lemon. I drank everything and never had the straw get mint stuck so it was blended very well. My daughter ordered the strawberry and banana smoothie which I think she slurped down in about 3 minutes. We used the restroom and it was clean and well stocked with essentials. The gentleman delivered our food and drinks quickly and even came back to check on us. I highly recommend this place and from being an out of towner the 5 star ratings are spot on! I went to papa’s gyro & grill for the first time today with my husband and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we walked , until we left 2 hours later it just kept getting better and better . Our server was Alex and let me tell you He did an amazing job , He took our food and drink order and everything came exactly how we order it Anytime we had a question or needed something Alex was there to help . We started out with his suggestion sek and chapali kebab over the home made rice yummmm they were a 10/10. Next I had the lemonade another 10/10. I also had the home sauce and we finished the night with bakhalawa . If you are looking for a great place for families night , date night or just a solo this is the place . Thank you so much to all for making our night amazing , in last we asked about the chef then we met with the most beautiful lady like (lady diana) introduced by Alex she was the owner and Alex is his Son OMG, both are 👌 down to earth like seriously in 2024???they treat customers like family here in USA 😳 will definitely be back and 100/100...
