My first time going here was to meet a friend. It had a Sports Bar look and dark feel about the place. Not somewhere I would have randomly walked into on my own accord. Nonetheless, I tasted a slice of her pizza right out of the oven and was shocked at how good it tasted. Have I been under a rock and not heard about this place in Pearland? That butter garlic herb crust SHOOK me to my core. It was a little bit of heaven on a crust. Gamechanger.....I was hooked at my first bite I loved the TOUCHDOWN pizza (no olives) SO MUCH SO that I ordered that same pizza to go THREE days in a row. YES!!!! I could not get enough of that herb butter crust. Each day the pizza was perfect except on the 3rd day. I ordered an XL Touchdown w/ no olives- add bacon. The toppings were barely there, the outer crust was dry with no oil/butter liquid they usually put on there and it tasted "OFF" for some reason. The herb seasoning was scarcely sprinkled around the crust. UGH! I immediately contacted the Manager named Jessica and asked if the usual cook was off that night bcas something was truly wrong with my pizza. I craved that wonderful exp from before. She apologized and agreed to replace it …Thank you very much! I have not tried anything else on the menu but I will after reading the comments about the wings being good. I inquired if they sold, in the restaurant, the herb spice mixture they put on every pizza and was told the Owner gets it from HIS very own spice shop located in League City called Gulf Coast Spice Company at 1422 E Main St. You can thank me later.. Ask for the Italian seasoning OR pizza seasoning. It is also sold in bulk. Yay for me. I am going to the spice shop to get some seasoning and try it on grilled chicken and make some turkey meatballs using it. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. That seasoning around their pizza crust makes their pizza unique and delish. Truly good pizza. Great gem of a place tucked away...
Read moreI held off on writing this review for several weeks but I've given up trying to resolve it with the restaurant directly. I ordered a pizza and some chicken strips on Aug 2nd. The pizza was so overcooked that the edges were burned and the crust was crumbling from being so dry. The chicken strips were also very overcooked and were rubbery.
I called the restaurant directly to pass along this feedback and see if it was possible to have my meal replaced. I saved the food so that I could return it if they wanted to inspect it. The first time I called, the employee who answered said the manager had just stepped away for a moment. I was told to call back in a few minutes. So, I called again in a few minutes.
On the second call, I was told that the manager left early but I could leave my information and the manager would return my call the following day. The following day came and went so I called the day after and was told that the manager was out for a few days but would return my call the following week.
The following week came and went so I called yet again. This time, the employee said it was strange that no one called me back and was going to get someone to talk to me right away. I was put on hold and then, after a few minutes, the phone call disconnected.
So, I gave up on even trying but the last time I ordered, the food was inedible. I tried my best to resolve my issue directly but was actively ignored every time I tried so I decided to leave a review based on my experience. Based on my last experience, I will likely not return to...
Read morePlaced an order for pick up, they said it would be ready 30 minutes. I arrived within 30 minutes. When I arrived they said it wasn't quite ready, and it would be another 2 to 3 minutes. No problem. I waited. And waited. 6 to- go orders were picked up while I waited. FINALLY someone asked if I'd been helped, and I explained that I'd placed an order at this point an hour ago. She went back to check. She went in and out several more times with other orders. So I stopped the next waitress that came out to explain my situation. She went to the kitchen and returned to say she thinks they messed my pizza up, so they're remaking it. I said no thank you, I'd just like a refund. She said ok, and went to the register. She remained in the kitchen awhile, and then came out with an order and delivered it to the customer behind me. So I asked another waitress to attend to my refund. I've waited over an hour for a pizza that never arrived. Another waitress came out and told me they were remaking it because mine had been given to someone else. WHAT?! So when I tell yet ANOTHER waitress my patience has worn out, she goes into the kitchen and slides a voided transaction receipt on the counter without making any eye contact, delivering no apology.
