Painting with a Twist — Attraction in Pearland

TERRIBLE FIRST TIME EXPERIENCE! My husband went out of his way to get us a class last min for my birthday since it was raining, and we paid and came inside, we were given sketched canvases, I expressed I would like a blank canvas. The instructor did not want to take the time to teach the class step by step, and told me if I was given a blank canvas that she didn’t have time to teach me the steps but handed me a paper instead. We politely said that’s not what we had expected and that we didn’t want to take the class, we didn’t touch anything nor did we receive a canvas, and we left before the class started. We called the manager or owner unsure who it was SHE WAS VERY RUDE AND ARGUMENTATIVE LACKING CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS and I requested a refund after a very annoying conversation she stated she would not refund us even though we did absolutely NOTHING! NO SERVICES WERE RENDERED! SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE she asked if I was an artist, and I said no but I wanted to sketch my own painting, I feel like this was pure laziness! She was quiet rude, Worst experience on my bday, would NEVER step foot back in this place or recommended it to ANYONE. The instructor also stated I normally draw the canvases at “night” because people like to drink more, IDC I don’t even drink I wanted a fun challenge NOT painting by numbers! 0 STARS We had a lot of trouble even trying to get ahold of someone on the phone! On May 14, 2022.

It was sad experience. I’m deaf aunt of my neice. She is 13 year old. Her birthday is May 11. We suppose to go but time was changed. Last week before her birthday. I was purchased on website and look at 7-9pm. Then I checked the email and look for the address. I saw the time is changed. I was confused. It say 4-6pm on May 14. We was rushed to her place and explained the customer. But customer couldn’t do anything.

I asked her for reschedule for my neice. Also I asked her question “is other way to find solution?”

She say her boss said no refund and no reschedule at all. I paid $80 for us. My neice was sad. Because she is love painting. It would be her first time but never have experience in painting class.

She always painting at her room. I want to surprise her. She was on the phone and asking for owner if there is other way for postpone or refund. Owner was rude and unprofessional. She is sad and explain me what owner said. Because I can’t hear on phone. She look at me and look sad. I was mad but explain to customer. Customer kept say I’m sorry but my boss say no and no refund. She ask us to leave the place.

I looked at their Yelp and it was 3 star out of 5. I see the several people have complain and no refund without solutions.

If the owner could have reschedule for us. It would be solution and positive. My neice will be happy. Because it would be her first time.

But wow… nothing else I try my best. Customer ask us to leave.

I’ve always wanted to do something like this for years now and I finally got to experience this on June 18, 2024 with a host by the name of Keke. I planned this date for a special guy I’ve been seeing and this was our 4th date and my treat! Everything went perfect! We arrived 30 minutes early to make candles which was a bonus I didn’t tell my date about ! She jumped right into the spirit of things and came up with the idea of me making his candle and he would make mine and we weren’t allowed to see the scents or the labels we chose for eachother lol. 😂 She gift wrapped the candles for us and we have decided to open them together on our next FaceTime. She was patient with us as we made our candles, and she was also very patient with us during the painting of our portrait. Keke played music that set a mature ambiance, like neo soul type music and that made the atmosphere romantic. She also allowed us to request a few songs because we had the whole studio to ourselves! I brought my own wine and wine glasses as well as my own food. stuffed shrimp (food item is called Pacifico from Gringos) ! Keke made it was easy to set up the food and wine to be accessible while painting. Keke recorded video footage for us and took amazing photos and was interactive the entire class by joining in on small talk with us! Lots of laughs! I totally recommend this business and...
