Today on Sat. 9/20/25, I told Mr. Kevin cake station express I wanted to do a Review, he told me to go to Instagram but I don't have an Instagram acct. & I didn't want to create one so instead I am on Google because I definitely wanted to do a Review on my Delicious "Butter Pound Cake with Lemon Glaze Icing!!"

The only reason I gave 4 stars for Service is because I actually give honest ratings & Mr. Kevin was working alone at the time I arrived around 4:00ish & there were only 2 other customers inside and it took a while before he came to the front because he was preparing an order for 1 of the other customers.

Now with that said, I say this, "Finally!!" in ref. to me finding someone who baked me the perfect "Butter Pound Cake with Lemon Glaze Icing!!" which means finally I was not "Disappointed" after spending my money & having my hopes high & taste buds ready for my "Delicious" cake!!

The cake was moist with the perfect texture, the taste was delicious, I could taste the butter & the glaze was delicious with the right consistency because sometimes bakers don't get that lemon glaze right, it can be too thinly applied and/or too sweet & you can't really taste the lemon.

Bottom line, I finally found the right baker!! I cannot believe I live in Houston/Missouri City/Fort Bend & I have not been able to find the perfect "Butter Pound with Lemon Glaze Icing" WTH!!

About 20 yrs ago 1 of my coworkers who had a bakery business made me a delicious "Butter Pound with Lemon Glaze Icing" then she stopped baking & I haven't had another 1 since, others have just been okay.

I will not name all of the places that I have been referred to that were supposedly "So Good" because that would be rude but they were not good, "They Failed."

I was even referred to a lady that had a bakery business out of her hm in Sugar Land who was supposed to be "So Good" & that was also a "Fail" so I was "So Happy" when I tasted Mr. Kevin's delicious "Butter Pound with Lemon Glaze Icing" & realized "This Is The One" & his cake will...

This last purchase is the last time that I shop here. My family and I enjoy the desserts, however, the customer service is horrible and this is not my first bad experience. My initial experience included lack of a customer friendly greeting and when they got around to acknowledging me it felt like they were doing me a favor eventhough I was patronizing their establishment and might I add spending a nice amount on a cake and a peach cobbler for the holidays.

My last experience this weekend broke the camels back as again a simple question if cupcakes were sold individually or packaged was not answered and then I was asked to wait outside while the order was being packaged, due to Covid. While I had no problem with waiting outside the Problem that I have is that I was told that I would be waved back in when the order was ready. After waiting patiently for almost 10 minutes I proceeded back Inside where my order was in the counter and I was told that they tried to wave me back in but I must have been on my phone. I proceeded to let them know that I was not on my phone and that you can’t see inside the store due to a glare and good customer service may have warranted a trip to the front door to wave me back in.

This establishment obviously is not concerned about The nasty attitude of their employees or maybe it’s the Ownership. Either way my last dime has been spent their and I strongly recommend that others follow suit if they have a poor Customer service...

Visited a couple of days ago and purchased a butter/butter cupcake; I ran some errands while the cupcake was in my car so the icing melted (my bad). Although the cake still tasted a bit stale I wanted to give them another try; went in today and purchased 2 cupcakes (butter/butter and lemon); the lady working the register wasn’t really welcoming and came off as dry. After she rung up my order I attempted to put in a phone number to collect points for my purchase (an incentive for me to want to return) but then she pressed a button and the option went away and went straight to the “pay” screen; I mentioned I would like to put in a number to earn points and she didn’t seem to care or try to fix it; she basically suggested that it was “too late” although I hadn’t paid yet. Not good customer service at all. Also the table (whatever is in the middle of the place when you enter) is a HUGE distraction and should be moved so you can see the cupcakes and the person behind the counter; and I would also think so they can see you when you enter and welcome you. The place is also somewhat dark and has an odd smell not like a bakery but more like a dank/dirty mop when you enter. Also when I visited a couple of days prior the guy Kevin was more welcoming and personable, which is why I decided to try them again.
