review is only for the Pelham location. I have had nothing but great service at all the other locations. We ordered a German chocolate cake for our daughters birthday. Order was placed on May 27 for a June 13th pick up date. When we arrived to pick up the cake, they handed us a Strawberry cake. My fiancĂŠ explained that we didnât order strawberry. The young lady helping us stated that she knew that but they didnât have German Chocolate so they made us strawberry... umm what?! Being that it was our daughters birthday and we had a house full of people waiting on cake we took the strawberry cake. She apologized again and stated we would receive a full refund for the cake. It turned out we were refunded $4. We called the Pelham location about this. We were told that we were only refunded the cost difference between the two cakes. My husband explained that we were told we would get a full refund. The young man he spoke with, Brent, was incredibly rude. He said if we didnât want the cake then we shouldnât have taken it home.we explained that we needed a cake hence why we ordered one. We tried explaining to him that we ordered a cake and they didnât prepare it. He talked over us and began raising his voice. He stated that they didnât have the ingredients to make German chocolate. Now let me say we fully understand things happen, but if you didnât have the ingredients someone should have called and let us know. We shouldâve been given the option to either cancel our order or pick out a different cake flavor. Instead, we find out in the day of her party when we picked the cake up. Our child was very disappointed and that couldâve been avoided had someone notified us. We were then told that we âcould have always just left and not have taken the cake home if we didnât want that flavorâ There is no excuse for that. They clearly knew they didnât have the ingredients when they started making the cake. We could look past this if it werenât for the unacceptable customer service we received. The level of rudeness and lack of caring we witnessed was unreal. He even stated several times âwell if you didnât want that cake then I guess you shouldnât have taken it home, huh?â And âwell you got a cake didnât you?!â He tried to act this was somehow our fault. We mentioned that we were ordering our wedding cake through Edgars and this made us second guess that decision. He asked who our wedding coordinator through edgars was. A threat was even made to contact that person and cancel that order. Unreal. Due to the way we were treated we will absolutely never go back to the Pelham location. I will drive out of the way to visit the other locations. So...

After waiting 20 minutes, I checked in with the host, who went to the back and said it would be about 5 more minutes. By the 30-minute mark, I noticed another customerâwho had ordered after meâreceive her food, including some of the same items I had ordered. I asked the host again about my order, and a manager stepped in. After checking with the kitchen, the manager explained that their order screen was broken and told the host she should have kept better track of my ticket. The manager offered cupcakes as a courtesy, which I appreciated, but my intention was mainly to share feedback on how the situation was handled. As an African American customer, I left feeling overlooked and uncomfortable. Whether intentional or not, experiences like this can leave a lasting impression and deserve reflection and attention...
   Read moreI don't recommend you go to Edgars...I won't ever again! For Mothers Day we went to the Pelham location and asked for a Carmel Cake. When we opened the cake on Sunday they gave us a chocolate cake by mistake. I went today to exchange it and the manager made a big deal about whether it was ordered or just picked up, told me that all servers show the cake before ringing it up...literally arguing with me. She even looked up on the computer when we last ordered from them! She never offered an apology or acted as if the customer was right. She just kept insisting that that all servers show the cakes before ringing them up. CARMEL was clearly on the ticket. Then she told me the chocolate and Carmel are the same price. I was so frustrated at this point that I told her I wanted a refund AND a cake exchange. She refused. (She is the manager). I WILL NEVER GO...
