Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Pell City

Mobile pickup order# 32702188109381638. My first experience with Freddy’s & I will unfortunately never be back. On 1/24/2025 I placed a mobile order for pickup at 6:17pm. The website told me food would be ready in 9-14 minutes & I was to pickup my food from the mobile order station then my custard from the to-go freezer. When I entered the building around 6:30pm (give or take) neither the food nor custard were in the respective spots. I sit and wait 5 minutes before deciding to let the lady at the front know. She told me the kitchen was working on it right then & it would be ready soon. I sit and wait until after 7pm before approaching a different lady at the front who tells me the kitchen actually doesn’t start working on the food until you notify a worker that you’ve arrived & since I didn’t do that they are just starting on my food, but my custard is done & she’s holding it in the back, so melting. Let’s not forget I told the grey haired lady with glasses that I had arrived thirty minutes prior. When I finally receive my food you’ll never guess what’s missing from the bag…. all the sides. Mind you we only ordered two meals so at this point I’m fed up. The forgetful worker at the front needs to be retrained & the website needs to be updated to: “inform the workers that you have arrived”, if that...

Well I have waited to try Freddy's and let's just say I was very , very disappointed 😞 ... First off I waited 45 mins to order then another 25 for my order ... the girl at the window was just so unpleasant no welcome to Freddy's or nothing ...got my order and thanked her stoll nothing from her but a stare ...drove off then thought you better check your order and good thing I did ... I told them when I ordered no mustard so when I opened my bag the burger was soaked in mustard and they left off my second order completely...no large drinks only baby size cups ..so back around in line I went another 25 mins to get to the window ..and again the girl just stood there like a zombie so I explained my order and just asked for my money back I was not about to wait another 20 mins ..so she got a manager still no were sorry or anything out of him ... then he had to get someone and still nothing ...I MUST SAY IT WAS THE RUDEST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER RECIEVED FROM ANY FAST FOOD PLACE ...AND I CAN GUARANTEE 💯 % THAT I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN ...RUDEST PEOPLE IN...

Freddy's is a must-try place. I've eaten at the Trussville location a few times and while passing through Pell City, I had to stop. The burgers are so good, with crispy edges on the meat and tender juiciness in the middle. If you like Smashburger or Shake Shack, you'll love Freddy's. I'm not a huge fan of thin shoestring fries, but here they are well-seasoned and crispy. The shakes are the best as well. I love the banana, so thick and rich.

From reading the reviews here, I don't think people understand what they are getting. These burgers are done right. And if you say you're going back to Jack's of all places for a burger, well, you've discredited yourself. Yes, there is a bit of a wait, and the prices are slightly higher (but not by much now with inflation where it is), but I've come to expect that from better quality fast-casual restaurants.
