Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Pella

Does not accomodate young children...AT ALL!!! We have been frequent customers patronizing approx. once a week. We have always brought in a lunchable or happy meal for our 3 yr old since there are no portion appropriate options or kid meal options on the menu. Today we were told we are not allowed to bring outside food and drink in.....after we had already ordered 3 sandwiches with chips and drinks. I also went on one occasion with my 7 yr old and was told I wasn't allowed to share a sandwich with her. They don't ALLOW me to share my food with my children!!!! Maybe you should offer child sized portions or how about a kid's meal! The prices are crazy high and they expect me to order an 8" sandwich for my 7yr old or my 3yr old to eat by themselves. If you want to have these rules, then post them! I will not come back with my children for sure. I don't need to be told these silly rules by a snippy manager and made to feel unwelcomed and unwanted. By the way, my children love jimmy johns (the chips especially) and are extremely well behaved. I will not waste money or food by ordering extra large sandwiches for them. That is just ridiculous! Very unhappy with the service (the manager specifically has been the only one to ever give us bad service). All the other employees have always been very efficient and polite.

Oh, and I did order a sandwich through the drive-thru to take to my daughters school....plain turkey with bacon added. When I got the to the school, the sandwich only had bacon on it...what?! Freaky fast and freaky careless. -0- stars if it was an option. I ordered online what I thought were simple requests: no mayo, no mustard, no tomatoes, and add pickles. I get a sandwich on the wrong bread, slathered in mayo, dripping with mustard, covered in tomatoes, and no pickles. To their credit they did call to tell me they don't have the bread I requested. But the sandwich drowning in condiments I specifically requested be 86'd made it inedible, and left me wholly disappointed. $18.00 down the drain. I'm kinda irked!! I ordered delivery on the ipod app. In my order I paid an extra dollar for adding avocado.. yet when I looked in my sandwich there was no avocado in sight. My receipt even states add avocado. They have extremely fast service yet not very accurate also, when you click on "extra" whatever in .. they just give you a regular portion, nothing extra at all. I will continue to use their services (as they're the only sandwich delivery guys here), but may just check my sandwich in front of the delivery guy to make sure everything is added.
