Was in the area and stopped by for dinner as the place was well rated. The restaurant offers primarily sushi and Neapolitan style pizza. We ordered the Funghi Pizza and Greenville Roll. The Japanese and Italian menu was unusual but both items were well executed. The only constructive criticism food-wise I could make is that the truffle oil flavor was much too subtle on the pizza and my wife couldn't even taste it. The food also came extremely quickly, which was appreciated. The restaurant included a handful of indoor and ample patio seating, but there wasn't much competition for a table. The ambiance was very sterile and unusual. We were the only people there during Saturday dinner service, and there wasn't even a takeout order during that time. The staff barely said a word to each other, and it seemed like such an awkward place to be. The waitress was friendly and tried, but we absolutely hated the ordering and service experience. You had to open the menu digitally from a tiny QR code that we couldn't even get to scan on my wife's phone. You then had to order on the phone, pay, and tip the server on your phone at the time you ordered and before you received your phone. They also charged a 10% service charge, which may have been fine, but there was zero explanation or justification of the charge. It was just a very backwards way to operate dine in service that would be enough to deter me from coming back, despite the good food. With some adjustments, this could be a great establishment and I hope they make it.

Can I give this place a 6/5 star? Erica is a post-modern industrial vibe restaurant that serves as the best mix of choosing between pizza or sushi. Combining a raw bar and a bistro seemed bold at first glance, but never had a restaurant captured me the way Erica was able to achieve. Firstly, the food was fantastic. Our server, Gabby, was so personable and amazing. She gave great recommendations on the food and helped us choose between their best pizzas. We got the PB&J white pizza and a Pep Talk red pizza. Both had a great wood fire taste that didn't overwhelm the meety and cheesy flavors of these pizzas. The sourdough base they use for the pizzas is wonderfully chewy that carries both sweet and savory flavors so well! Alongside the pizzas, we got the Ginger Salad and their Cheeseburger (no cheese due to an allergy). The ginger salad came with a homemade ginger dressing that we couldn't hold ourselves back from drinking! The burger was beyond juicy. The wood fire crust developed on the thick beef patty made it my personal top five burgers. We finished with the S'mores pizza. Nothing more delectable could have been such a great end to the meal. S'mores should only be made the way Erica has made this pizza! We will certainly be coming back to Erica next time we are in town for a Clemson game.

This is a 3.5 star review, but rounded up in favor of restaurant because this place definitely has potential. Erica use to be New York (the sushi place) and owned by the same couple. We were a little disappointed that Google still shows them having sushi but they no longer have sushi. Outside patio is nice and definitely has potential. However, a small part of the ceiling is in need of repair. The back third of the patio looks to be a catch all of unused/broken tables and chairs. A bit of an eye sore. Inside appeared to be clean and welcoming. The oysters here are on point. A little pricey for this genre of a restaurant, but fresh. The pork bun was good. Bun was nice and fluffy and the veggies were crisp. However, I would have like my pork belly a bit more crispy. The shishito peppers were a little bland at first, but once you get down to the sauce, it made a world of difference. Portion size was good. Our server/owner was very sweet and knowledgeable of her menu. She didn't mind spending extra time with us to tell us the history of the restaurant and menu. It is definitely a family run restaurant. Beer and wine selection was great for this style restaurant. We will definitely be back for beer and oysters and to try some of their wood fire items.

Extremely disappointed in the customer service and quality of food. Upon walking in, the hostess was fine but not the friendliest… ok fine no biggie, the food industry can be overwhelming. We get seated at the bar at 7:20. We had mentioned a food allergy and asked questions about modifications and were told the chef gave the OK to modify the sushi bowl. I could see the chef and hostess openly talking about us (they have an open kitchen - we also found out these 2 were actually the owners). After waiting over an hour, our waitress let us know that the chef was not able to make the modification. At this point it is 8:45 pm. This could have been vocalized when we first mentioned the allergy so we didn’t waste over an hour of our time. When the rest of us finally got our food, the avocado in the roll was black, the sushi tasted off and the seaweed salad and cucumber salad had no flavor. The chef (the owner) came out to tell us everything was made to their standards and that we had to pay for everything even if we didn’t want to consume it because our opinions are subjective and his opinion is that the sushi is good.. I have never even complained at a restaurant before tonight but the lack of customer service was insane. He literally argued with us for 5 minutes then told us we could pay or he would call the cops. I said “ok you can call the cops” then they made us wait while they went in the back to discuss. Then came back and told us all they could do was take off the seaweed salad and that we needed to pay for everything even if we didn’t eat it. Our server was great. Seems like the chef has an ego he needs to get in check. The quality of this sushi was worse than prepackaged grocery...

Came in for dinner for my wife’s birthday and was quickly seated. I understand and have read the menu stating they are slow moving when I comes to cooking/serving food. The place was packed so I knew it would be on the slower side. It took 45 minutes before our order was taken, I’m including drinks. 45 minutes before someone came to the table. My wife ordered a glass of wine and I ordered a cocktail. Food came a while later but before the drinks, to which my wife canceled the glass of wine. Look, I understand the slower pace but how long does it take to pour a glass of wine? Why wouldn’t you serve the wine when you take the order knowing it would take a while before the food comes out? Probably would’ve ordered another one but okay. Taking a look around the restaurant, everyone else was already eating their food so I’m not sure what the issue was. Food was okay. The burger I ordered tasted like someone spilled the salt container on it. We decided to give this place another try after rebranding from their old name of New Yolk, to which we stopped going because the pizza I used to order was literally burnt to a crisp the last two times we had take out from there. How do you put it in the box and cut it without noticing it’s black and crispy? I’m sure it was hard to cut through. My fault for assuming the menu was different other than oysters being added. Definitely will not be back. $125 later only to be disappointed again. Can someone please open a decent restaurant...
