Waffle House — Restaurant in South Carolina

My granddaughter loves waffle house, so when I visit her in Pendleton S C we always go at least once. Today we went for dinner. There was one employee power washing the side walk and there was one employee in the restaurant. Becka was inside and she was busy cooking the meal for the only other patrons. When she came to take our order, I asked if she was the only one inside working. She said the man outside was the cook so she was being the waitress and cook for the time he was outside. So both of them were doing double duty. Becka took our order, brought our coffee and chocolate milk and proceeded to cook and serve our meal. She continued to keep my coffee topped off, which I really appreciated. I was impressed with her work ethic and great attitude. When the cook returned, he was ready to clean up and start cooking for the next patrons. They both deserve a gold star. If I knew his name I would list it. Great...

When you're cooked is setting their cussing and talking about other people that work there and complaining about them and what they do then turns around and does the same thing that other person they were complaining about does me and my family eat there at this waffle House a lot we're about to stop eating there because of this issue because this is not the first time it's happened hard to cook cuss and complain about somebody returning the waffles that were burnt then he got pissed off we don't really complain about much or anything like that but when my kids are sitting there listening to this it's a little different and the last two times we went we normally order the same thing every time we go cuz we're a regular customer and he's been to cook and our bacon was completely burnt didn't even taste like...

Went there for breakfast at 10:00 am on 12-02-2017. LIve locally and eat there occasionally but every time we go there the floors are filthy. You can tell it hasn't been swept or cleaned in days. Today we sat at the table facing the kitchen. I was appalled at the trash on the floor as waitresses and cooks walked over and on the paper and food on the floor. Both trash cans were overflowing. One time the cook took his foot and pushed the pile of paper toward the trash can but said nothing to anyone about cleaning anything up. The waitresses had plenty of time to talk but no one took time to clean up. The same rules apply to all restaurants, if you are to lazy to clean up the place, you,re not cleaning up the places that need it the most and that's the areas you are cooking on. Management,...
