Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Penn Hills

Only giving them 1 star because I can't give 0. We ordered from here last weekend, after placing the order, the estimated time was 70-80 minutes. Okay...kind of ridiculous, but at this point I've already ordered. Flash forward and hour and 40 minutes later, it finally arrives. Delivery person gets out, apologizes for the wait time, claims to be the manager of this location, and says that due to the excessive wait time, there would be a credit for one free large pizza under our address all we had to do was call to redeem it. Called today to redeem that free pizza, was told there was nothing under the name or address. Asked to speak to the manager, who then explained quite rudely that "I don't just give out free pizza you need something in writing." Fair enough, I get wanting something in writing, but either he's lying about it, or someone at that store is lying about being manager, either way its shady, and rude, and honestly not a good business practice. So you can keep your pizza and your absurd wait times, we will no longer be visiting here anymore, and I recommend no one else order here either, it's just not worth it, there is better pizza...

Our family orders from this location often. As of today, that’s changed. Whenever I order for delivery, I request that all of my food is taped shut. Every time prior to tonight, my request was granted. I do not feel comfortable with the high turnover of delivery drivers & this location using DoorDash drivers to deliver my food. Once the order was placed online, I called the store to make my request. I was informed my request would be granted. When my food arrived, none of my food was taped shut! I called & a man answered stating that my food was taped shut & as I proceeded to tell him that it wasn’t, he hung up on me. I called back, this same man yelled & said “our delivery drivers don’t mess with the food,” then he hung up on me a 2nd time. I called back a 3rd time, he picked up the phone & instantly hung it up. I called a 4th time & that call went straight to their automated system, then eventually the call was disconnected. This man was rude & unprofessional! He needs customer...

The most unprofressional, unsanitized food place ive been too in a long time. I placed an order for a large pizza 5 toppings! I picked up my order and got home to have hair in my food. I was very upset at the fact im hungry thats why i ordered it to now i cant eat it because theres hair in my food! I called them back stating that there was hair in my food! The manager was very very rude. Like as if he didnt have a care in the world. He said ok bring your pizza back and we can make you a new one! No im so sorry this happen to you we are going to make it right since you are our customer. So i got to waste my gas to come all the way back because your company is not taking the right precautions to have a clean envirnoment. I will be going to the health department and the founder of papa johns about this issue. Very unsatisifed with the unprofressionalism of the manager and this company in general.
