Taco Bell — Restaurant in Penn Hills

Absolutely the WORST Taco Bell in the area, if not the worst in their franchise. A brand new building, brand new look, absolutely horrible staff. Needs a complete turnover. Website clearly says closes at 1am every day, tried to go through the drive through tonight at 11:45 when a manager came outside and said and I quote exactly “We close at 11, I’m going home man you have to go somewhere else”

I’ve been in the service industry for years now, I get it how bad it can be to be short staffed, but to ALWAYS close early, ALWAYS. Get orders wrong, and ALWAYS give attitude to customers? This location had such potential but I can tell you for sure, I will never be returning to this location, as the workers were leaving the amount of dirty looks I was given is completely un professional, maybe if one of them put their phones down and knew how to make a taco we wouldn’t have to write this review. I do not recommend this location to anyone. Drive the extra 7 minutes and go to Monroeville. They honor their hours, they respect their customers, and also , their orders are always right. Either Close the Penn Hills location or get a complete turnover of Management and Staff. Oh and if your going to scream out the trash side door at me that you close at 11 but your lights are still on and everything, at least use proper manners and be professional. 7 total trips to this location and 6 of them were horrible. This is my second time going to this taco bell. The first time, I placed an online order for pickup, but they made me wait 23 minutes for my order while they took care of the drive thru.

I have been dying to try the new cantina tacos, and since they loaded a coupon for a freeze with a purchase and I couldn't think of what to cook for dinner, I ordered taco bell. I got the cantina box with the avocado ranch. I also added an extra chipotle style cantina taco. I heard that the chipotle one was the better of the two. Of course they charged me $2.69 plus tax to give me nothing. I tried calling the store, and it sounds like a fax machine answers. I guess I'll wait until 8 am PACIFIC STANDARD TIME to call customer service to hopefully get a refund or gift card. This location sucks. New Kensington is much better and accurate. I should have just made it myself at home with their sauces that can be bought...

We ate here because we needed something quick. Unfortunately the service was exceptionally slow so we were late anyway. We had seen the negative reviews but took the risk because we are vegetarian and Taco Bell is by far the best vegetarian fast food option. When our food came it was missing the coffees we had ordered so my partner asked at the front desk. We waited a bit more and then just started eating. The breakfast burrito I had was probably the best TB breakfast burrito I have ever had. Shockingly generous with all the ingredients. My husband's burritos were similarly stuffed. And then a staff member brought our coffees to us, fresh and really good. Such a mixed bag. If we hadn't been in a hurry we wouldn't have minded the slow service so much and we really appreciated the quality of the burritos...
