Went here today with my wife. My wife ordered. First, she asked if there was a "How to Train your Dragon" kids meal. The lady taking the order, Rowan, and her friend starting laughing as they said "No, we just have the whopper", which was incorrect, because when my kid got her kids meal it was a How To Train Your Dragon kid's meal. Then, my wife asked if there was any way we could get the themed cup for our daughter instead, which they said they could, but informed us we could only get the "fancy" cup if we got the lemonade. The part about the cup being "fancy" was said in sort of a condescending tone, implying that it wasn't worth what was being asked for it and that we were foolish to do so. Then, as my wife proceeded to ask more questions regarding the menu, she was interrupted and spoken over by the lady taking the orders, Rowan (we could also hear her friend in the background laughing). You could hear two women on the microphone snickering and mocking my wife with every question. What is worse, my wife was completely polite even after being treated poorly, and when we pulled up the window you could hear a woman with a sleeve of tattoos continue to mock my wife for asking about the menu. On top of that, they didn't even get the order correct. We asked for a cheeseburger with only cheese and got a fully loaded cheeseburger. Maybe if they'd pay attention to the customers needs instead of mocking them, they would have got the order correct. I have been to the worst fast food places in the worst areas in the country, and somehow this Burger King in Hanover PA managed to beat all of them out and take the crown for the worst fast food service I have ever received. I cannot tell if Burger King is unable to find respectable employee's or if they just don't care about how their customers are treated. No matter what, I'm never going back to this place again. Absolutely despicable on every level. One star...
Read moreMy my how things have changed. My original review was very good, however i cannot say the same anymore.
I have CONSISTENTLY had problems at this location, from incorrect orders, missing food, very sloppy food prep, and the most egregious issue, the INCREDIBLY rude and disrespectful staff, from drive thru employees to management.
This restaurant is quite literally the 1st and only establishment that I've ever felt compelled to call corporate to file a formal complaint. In fact, not 5 minutes ago I pulled up, I was told to wait. As I waited a 2nd vehicle pulled up and immediately had their order taken.
When I was finally addressed to have my order taken, I asked the female worker why the car that just pulled up after me had their order taken 1st. I got a very rude and snide response stating "when I'm the only one taking orders, sometimes that happens, so are you gonna order or not?!"
It's hard to convey the tone and attitude thru text; but I assure you it came off as incredibly rude, incredibly contentious, and incredibly unprofessional.
Unfortunately this is the only Burger King in our area, or I'd be going anywhere but here. Rest assured though, every time I decide to cone here, they remind me very quickly why I dislike it so much. I've eaten at Burger Kings quite literally from coast to coast, and this location takes the cake for the worst service I've ever had, not only at a Burger King, but at any establishment of any kind.
My original review was as follows: Staff was super friendly, they hooked it up with the sauces as well.
Such a drastic change. Hopefully corporate can get them...
Read moreGeneral manager has a major attitude problem. No one was available to take our order. Lady said we’ll be right with you. 10 minutes later, I have the app downloaded and selected dine in option. They made my food and left it behind their heat shute along with a ton of other food sitting there and no one called my name. Once I went up there to ask for my food she gave me attitude, went to pick up the bag, and shoved it across the counter. When I asked about getting the cups for my drinks, she said yes 2 dr peppers. We wanted Coke Zero and she looked at the receipt, pointed at the receipt and says Dr Pepper and then shoved the drinks at me. I told her I don’t want them and she walked away. A younger lady asked if I wanted something else and she took the 2 drinks back and gave me 2 new cups. I have worked in the food industry never had someone get so bent out of shape about a drink being wrong. They are short staffed and I can tell these kids working here hate working here. General manager needs to go with her...
