Amores 2 — Restaurant in Penn Township

We had such a delightful experience at Amore's 2. After being at Hickory Falls Adventure Park for the day we were hungry for Italian. We didn't realize that this restaurant is mostly take-out. When we arrived, they have 2 inside booths and their grandchildren were occupying one of them playing. It was 8 of us. The owners immediately had their grandchildren move to another area, cleaned the table and seated all eight of us comfortably. NOW, the food. AMAZING! My husband and I had the Italian chopped steak sandwiches and they were delicious. Home made rolls, toasted and all done to perfection. Some had their amazing pizza and two others had the cheese ravioli served with a nice salad, very fresh and their home made bread. We were so happy we went there and we wish they were located closer to where we live so that we could patronize them more frequently. Trust us, you won't be disappointed. The owners...

I am editing my previous review. After the way we were treated this evening at Amore's, they forgot half of our order. Meaning they never even made half of our order. Because they said they forgot to do it. So it's the fact that after it was done after we waited. They never apologized. Wasn't looking to get anything for free. But wasn't looking to spend an extra who knows how long was in their parking lot. Thanks for nothing. And I will tell you this. The special cheesesteak sub I had was the best in town. I've had subs all around town. And and this place was the only place I felt I got my money's worth. Every other place. You got a bunch of Sub roll With some meat In the middle, Amores gets it, from one end of their delicious home made sub roll to the other, tasty steak, fried onions, etc....the BEST! PERIOD!. This is my first time ordering from this place. Recently moved to Hanover in May but I grew up in Hampstead Maryland which is only 15 minutes down 94 which turns into route 30. I must say from talking to the carryout woman on the phone she was very nice and full of personality and helpful. So I'm going to give a shout out to her I'm sorry I forgot your name. Then to the delivery woman she was also very sweet and congratulated me on my new baby. As did the carryout woman on the phone. Just very personal people it seems like and I look forward to speaking with these two amazing ladies again. Now to the food I got a cheesesteak and it was delicious! Fresh bread enough meat, crispy warm fries as a side dish. I also ordered dinner for later a cold sub, turkey and provolone with mayo. I look forward to sinking my teeth into that....
