Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Pennsylvania

I don't write many reviews but this one needs to be written, in the hopes that this location can match what Jersey Mike's subs usually are like. This isn't the first time we have had bad sandwiches from this location (the first time it was because there were strands of hair throughout the sandwich; management did give us a full refund and offered the next order completely free - so I ended up letting that one go so as to not cause the restaurant any issues, because everyone makes mistakes). But given this has now happened more than once, I'm just going to post it here.

I'm a huge sub sandwich fan. We usually order from a Jersey Mike's regularly. This was the worst sub I have ever eaten - in fact, it was inedible. When I opened the sub pictured below, it was so wet that it felt like either the whole thing had been dipped in a bowl of water or they just took the top off of the bottles of oil and vinegar and dumped it straight onto the sandwich. I could barely even handle it to pull it apart at the quarter cuts. This was compounded by the fact that the bread barely seemed baked enough. You can see how pale it looks in the picture.

Then, the toppings were wrong. We ordered extra cheese on one of the subs and it was put on the wrong one. And no tomatoes on the other sub and it was on the wrong one. Almost amusingly, they included a side container of oil and vinegar - I guess in case we wanted extra to the wet mess lol. I almost felt like it was some sort of joke with that being included because I've never gotten that before lol.

Luckily we ordered from DoorDash and were able to get a full refund, but I felt this was important to write so they could use it to hopefully improve. I would just advise anyone ordering to maybe avoid ordering delivery so that you can inspect your food before you pay for it and leave.

This was how it looked wrapped up - before opening it I almost thought they gave us the wrong size because of how much they had smashed the sub now and...

I was so excited when I heard Jersey Mike's was coming to Hermitage. And now, I'm not sure I will go back to this location. I expected the store to be busy as it is the "shiny new toy" for everyone to try. I placed my order online so that I could come in and grab my sandwiches. The ticket said my order would be ready at 12:37. At 1:05 I walked out with my order only to find out that the notes with requests for both sandwiches were ignored. I have now placed two online orders and both times the notes were ignored. We have been to Jersey Mike's locations all over NJ, PA, and FL and this problem is unique to Hermitage. As I was waiting, people came in, waited on line, placed their order, received their order, and then went on their way. So I waited 28 minutes past my quoted time while others came in and got their items. The store disabled online ordering and the phone went right to voice-mail. So since I couldn't contact the store, here is my one star review. I will be returning to Lock Stock and Barrel...

Went here again just to see if things got better.......same issues....and actually got worse. U CANT MAKE THIS STUFF UP.....

This time as I'm standing in line a woman who came in after me asks how long it will be because she has to get work as she orders a tuna sub and they actually made her sub before all of the people in front of her and myself.. How ridiculous is that.....apparently those of us in line were not as important as she was because she had to get to work so we had to wait as they made her sub and got her checked out. No one asked the rest of us what we had to do....I guess we all had nothing else to do other than wait.... What a joke...DO NOT BOTHER WITH THIS PLACE...

Subs are good. There is an Efficiency issue. I won't speculate on why. I'd say to plan on waiting 25-45 minutes to get your food if your just walking in and ordering. Ive been here 4x now. Every time has been very slow. It's too long for me to wait for a simple sub so I...
